[8.0] "Has grown on me a ton in the last few months; dude has been killing it on the indies, and it's only a matter of time before he breaks out officially in AEW. If the early matches against Punk, Copeland and Bryan are any indication, the company feels the same way. Lee is gonna be great!"
[7.0] "Meet him trough Enjoy Wrestling, his excellent match against Darius Lockhart, and have been a fan since then. He is an great technical wrestler and will keep growing into an more complete performer over time. He is only lacking in mic skills at this point but he is pretty young so he will get better at as time goes on. Hopefully he gets an push on ROH or AEW"
[7.0] "Lee is a talented technical wrestler. His mic skills and charisma are okay but need developing for the top tier promotions. Enjoyable in the masked wrestler that showed his abilities."
[5.0] "Lee Moriarty is pretty boring. His In-Ring is okay but he has a big lack of charisma. It is perhaps his booking which is not at its best but right now I can't put more than 5."
[6.0] "Lee is a good worker who wrestles a pretty neat technical style. He hasn't been booked that strong in AEW, but he also hasn't shown truly undeniable talent or anything like that. I think he does well when paired with people who work his style, like Garcia, but hasn't shown a ton so far in AEW."
[7.0] "I was first introduced to Lee Moriarty in MLW, and I thought, "Wow, he's got some talent. Bauer's holding him back. " When he had that match with Joey Janela on Dark, he got his moment, and was signed quickly. For a while, he didn't do anything, until Lee was put in the Firm, which turned out to be a dud of a stable. Still, Lee has a lot of potential technically, with some good high flying moves. Once this guy improves on his promos, he will be champ in AEW."
[10.0] "This guy has amazing potential and has papers to become really sucessful atleast mid-carder in wrestling, guy has charisma, ring skill, let's give him a chance on microphone and if he will be atleast alright on mic, I would love to see him with any mid-card title run"
[8.0] "In the ring, he feels like the heir apparent to Bryan Danielson. He can move between masterful technical skill and strikes with the best of them, something that the larger wrestling fanbase got a taste of when he wrestled Bryan himself on AEW Dynamite last year. He's like 27 or 28 years old and I would argue that his in-ring work is already up there with the best that North American professional wrestling has to offer. His issue lies in his character work. Specifically, the lack of depth his character currently possesses. This ultimately comes down to the fact that he's yet to be pushed by a major wrestling promotion, and as such, has not yet been able to flesh out a character. Remember, it took Danielson many years to become the guy we know him to be today, so I'm not at all concerned about Lee's future in that regard. He's already an awesome wrestler, and once the character does come along, it'll be hard to argue against him as one of the best in the world. P.S.: put him in the Blackpool Combat Club!"
[7.0] "Lee is a 7 for now but he's only going to move up and quick. The moves are already there, the selling is there, there is just some character work he needs to work on and I think getting into AEW will help that."
[6.0] "Holy hell this guy has a high rating here. Lee Moriarty is a very solid worker but nothing all that special in my eyes. He proved his grappling technique and how incredibly slick his offense is in his match with Punk, but that's been his only match where I saw even a slight glimmer of anything particularly special. His main issue, which a lot of AEW's roster has, is his lack of character. Sure, he has physical charisma, but his mic work is very average and he lacks personality. He is still young of course, but MJF is younger than him and is phenomenal with character work. Still, he is a very good worker, he just needs to improve in basically every other aspect."
[9.0] "Lee Moriarty is a guy I first saw in the 2019 Young Lions Cup, and though he lost in the first match he made a strong impression on me and I always remembered him. Last year he started to become an indie name and towards the end of the year was signed to AEW, which I was pleased to see. I've only seen him a handful of times so far but I've always been impressed to date."
[8.0] "So so impressed with his in ring work and I absolutely adore his look, entrance and whole presentation. One of my favourite wrestlers in the world and I am so excited to see him grow and improve."
[8.0] "Highly skilled indy wrestler. Had put on some really great matches. I have enjoyed his work in GCW. AEW should have picked him up instead of the far less interesting, Lee Johnson. He had a bright future ahead of him."
[7.0] "The Hype is real, denke ich. Hatte 2020 sein Breakout-Jahr und hat immer wieder gute Leistungen gezeigt, dabei aber auch Charisma und Persönlichkeit. Ob das für das ganze obere Regal im nationalen Vergleich reicht, kann man ob seiner Einsätze noch schwer voraussagen, aber da schlummert eine Menge."
[8.0] "Lee Moriarty got a huge potential In only 3 days, he became a really interesting name in the US indy scene with his matches against Alex Shelley and Trip Cassidy. Like Cassidy said, he reminds me a lot Bryan Danielson and Chris Hero (I never said that for a young wrestler but he's fuck*** awesome) !"
