I'm giving her a 7/10 because while she's still on the rise, she's already shown glimpses of what could be a very bright future. Her matches have a great mix of technical skill and emotional storytelling, and she's proven she can hold her own against some of the best competitors. What excites me most is the possibility that Kylie Rae could eventually make a big impact in a major promotion. She has the look, talent, and charisma that larger companies are always searching for. That said, she's still developing and has room to grow, especially in terms of consistency and character work. But the foundation is definitely there. If she can stay focused and get the right opportunities, I truly believe she could become a top star in women's wrestling. Kylie Rae has all the tools to succeed, and I'm eager to see where her career goes. A solid 7/10 from me! |

Without that, though, I would still rate her 8.5-9. Because of her, I have attended a lot of indie shows this year, and she is always one of the highlights whenever she has been on the card. Super reliable, strong character, able to generate sympathy, super body control, surprising power, GREAT selling - one time, at a small Warrior Wrestling/Pro Wrestling Ventures show in Chicago against Stephanie Vaquer, she was selling her neck throughout the post-show meet-and-greet, and to this day I do not know if it was legitimate, haha! Let us not downplay how hard it must be, too, to be manic depressive and always have to wear a smile. As a depressive myself, I really appreciate it. She always puts on a great show regardless of crowd size, match constellation, or gender of opponent. My only criticism is that, sometimes, she plays the heel for no reason other than to make her opponent seem like more of a face. For example, the GCW match against Allie Katch before the big Hammerstein Ballroom show; Allie Katch was tasked with getting over as a babyface for her match with Ruby Soho, so Kylie, who herself had just recently returned to the ring and whom I was really excited to see, kinda arbitrarily started heeling it up, flipping off the crowd, etc. I think she is selfless and would rather get her opponent over, but in the grand scheme of the flow of a show, it would benefit her more to play face vs. face than to switch sides without a clear kayfabe motivation. |
