[0.0] "Not the same Carmella we're familiar with today, Carmella DeCesare was a finalist in the 2004 Diva Search with Christy Hemme. With much of that competition based on looks, Carmella came to the Diva Search essentially as a ringer, being the reigning Playboy Playmate of the Year at the time. But she was utterly bereft of personality and never came off like she had any real interest in wrestling (Christy, on the other hand, was full of charisma and acted like she really wanted to be there [and, for what it's worth, was IMO way more attractive to boot]). After Christy rightly got the nod in the contest, she briefly feuded with Carmella, culminating in a lingerie pillow fight at Taboo Tuesday 2004. Carmella lost the match and left WWE immediately after, her entire in-ring career having lasted just under two minutes."
