The women have been carrying the WWE as far as ring work quite handily this decade and virtually all of the peak matches have revolved around her. Although her mic work is secondary to her physical talent, she is capable of cutting a fucking fantastic promo when she wants to as demonstrated in the Naomi/Jade feud. I genuinely cannot think of a more ideal success story from the Performance Center. She's lamented by a few detractors for getting an almost Cena-like push but people need to understand when it's time to capture lightning in a bottle, we might not see the stars align for a wrestler this perfectly in the WWE for quite a while. |

Allerdings finde ich, dass sie eigentlich immer nach dem gleichen Schema vorgeht: Ihre Gegnerin versucht sie meistens irgendwie zu überlisten, falls diese ein Heel ist, auch mit unfairen Aktionen, aber sie schafft es, ihre enorme Kraft ins Spiel zu bringen, punktet durch ihre Power-Moves und ihre Widersacherin hat diesen irgendwann nichts mehr entgegenzusetzen. Trotzdem wirkt das, was sie im Ring anstellt, sehr rund und es macht einfach einen routinierten Eindruck. Außerdem weiß sie, wie man einen spannenden Matchablauf gestaltet. Ich würde mir nur wünschen, dass sie aus ihrem gewohnten Schema mal ausbricht und wenn es von der Gegnerin her passt, taktisch ganz anders vorgehn würde! Sie hat einen klasse Look, der auch sehr gut vermarktbar ist, strahlt jede Menge Energie aus und bringt Schwung in die Sache. Eigentlich wäre ich geneigt, ihr eine höhere Wertung zu geben. Der Grund, weshalb ich das aber nicht mache, ist nicht das relativ wenige, was ich an ihrer Arbeit im Ring zu kritisieren habe, sondern liegt an Folgendem: Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, dass sie mich, in denen zwei bis zweieinhalb Jahren, seit denen ich wieder WWE gucke, mal emotional mitgerissen hätte und mich z. B. durch eine Promo größer beeindruckt und entschieden mein Interesse an der jeweiligen Storyline geweckt hätte. Wenn es nicht ums Wrestlen an sich geht, kann sie einen nicht richtig begeistern. Aber das zu können, ist nunmal eine äußerst wichtige Eigenschaft! |
