[3.0] "He was in storylines before he was ever in the business thanks to Ole opting to be a dad and going to Nashville or wherever they were from to watch him wrestle amateur over coming to shows for Crockett promotions/ NWA to wrestle himself. I remember him on WCW t.v. briefly, two times in tag matches, then twice in singles matches. Once against Johnny B Badd and the other one against I wanna say Tom Zenk. Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko dropped hints on the commentary that he was ole's son during all those matches without ever really saying it out right which I guess was their way to protect him. Although, me personally i don't think it would've mattered if they said it or not because Ric had the book and I don't think he was gonna push Ole's kid due to the animosity him and ole had with each other from the 80's. Hence the rumor that went around that he got fired by eric because "creative had nothing for him". Ole I believe left WCW all together and wrestling as a whole pretty much in early 1995, and Bryant followed in his footsteps. I don't think the passion was ever there for him to pursue wrestling any further after his dad left it."
