He has a fun character now in the WWE and could go in the ring back before Progress, but he's trash human being and has burned his personal life to a crisp. A perfect fate for someone who I had to throw away his shirt for me and my kid. I can't have my kid wearing a rapist's shirt. You blew it, bro."

He can take care of himself in the ring if he needs to, hurt someone for real if he has to, etc, and that's right on their meal ticket. He went all in on it. He's not afraid to go out there in flip flops, wear the vibrant colors, ride a scooter, and be a total air head, or stoner as someone else called it. Then when the time and feud calls for it turn up the intensity, be more serious about things, and be viewed as a threat to whoever he's wrestling. I also think having that going for him translates well chemistry wise too with opponents or partners because he can play off their characters with whatever role or range needs to be played."

Edit: While what I said still remains true, I lowered his grade as his character can be a bit much at times. The more I see him the more I see a solid performer and not someone at the main event level on his own. He's still good in the ring and his charisma is off the charts but it can be a bit much at times and I sometimes struggle seeing something more out of him."

I'm not as in love with Riddle as most other people are. In fact, I was not really fond of him when I first caught wind. Some dude who just wants to smoke weed, has poor grammar & seems like he wants to hang out with Jake Paul? Sounds like my mortal enemy. But he's winning me over with his in ring work. I'm still a little up in the air with his character work & he's now starting to ruffle some feathers with his lack of respect towards some legends. It will be interesting to see how the Matt Riddle story plays out."

He's had some good matches and it's cool knowing a guy can really fight, but a lot of his stuff also ends up being tedious because of the MMA style. I don't know anything about UFC but huge credit to Monster Factory for training, EVOLVE for their early booking of him and of course Matt Riddle himself who has had incredible matches with Cedric Alexander, Chris Hero, Zack Sabre Jr, Trevor Lee, Drew Galloway, Tracy Williams, Drew Gulak, Roderick Strong, Ciampa and more. Riddle should have won the EVOLVE World Championship from Thatcher, I think it was a mistake to keep that title off him. But Riddle has successfully acquired major titles in WWN, Progress Wrestling (he's the best Atlas Champion so far) and PWG. Currently holds the top title for Pro Wrestling Chaos too, which perhaps he can make a go of in the same way that Ethan Page is the SWE Championship or Drew Galloway did the ICW Championship. Riddle in 2018 should make the most of the title opportunities available to him, particularly in EVOLVE/WWN, Progress, RPW and PWG. He should defend those titles in as many places as will permit him to. And then a move should be made to ROH/NJPW or NXT if possible. Riddle rode into the indies like a wrecking ball but he will eventually stagnate as his losses begin to mount up as he plays the role of a former champion."

Not only is Riddle the defenition of charisma and a great worker, but he legit enjoys wrestling. Look at some of his tag matches with Jeff cobb in pwg or the Progress title match at Chapter 39. He has the biggest smile on his face during all the exchanges and even marks out for incredible spots like the fans. He's a true Bro"
