[7.0] "Ray Rougeau is the prime example of a typical tag wrestler. The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers were a convincing and technically flawless brother duo who, despite all their technical talent, represented solid toughness. Unlike Jaques, Ray was the slightly weaker heel, occasionally coming across as the son-in-law, but he did his job exemplarily as the other half of this memorable team. What the Dogfaced Gremlin was to Big Poppa Pump, Ray was to his brother and later Mountie Jaques. His pleasant charisma and competent impression as an Anchor Man lookalike in the mid-90s in the WWF further enhance his legacy in my eyes."
[8.0] "I never really saw Ray's work but I've seen him speak in interviews and he always comes across as a humble and classy guy. Ray was also a skilled boxer and could hold his own in a shoot, which is probably why Dynamite didn't mess with him (but that's another story)."
[6.0] "He did not have as good a career as his brother as he didn't continue after their tag team broke up in WWE. Enjoyed his work as a member of the Fabolous Rougeau where he was good in the ring and had charisma and mic skills."
[8.0] "Edited for mild embellishments: I really wish it was easier to find his pre WWF material and it's a shame his career ended in early 1990, because his stuff was too good to just *disappear*. Had some really great kicks, excellent pacing, smooth delivery, notable expressions/heel mannerisms and a phenomenal mullet. Raymond Rougeau had almost everything, even his mic work was totally fine. Had the ability to work as heel or face, whereas Jacques- not so much. While he was the better half of The Fabulous Rougeau's, it was nice to see his brother elevate his own performance once the pairing was ended. Everything is recommended except the Bushwhacker matches. 8.25"
[6.0] "While his tag team brother had the more prolific solo career (and was the more charismatic of the two), Raymond was just as good in the ring, and was the better seller. Unfortunately, he lacked personality and his promos and mic skills were nothing to brag about."
[7.0] "Only saw him in the WWF briefly. Raymond was quite solid in the ring like Jacques but didn't have the same success as his younger brother. Did fine as a commentator and interviewer. But like Jacques, Raymond had some tremendous athletic ability, able saw him do backflips and frontflips in a time when doing those was a rare site to see. Can't say much about his promo work, I never saw or heard him on the mic. Should mention that Raymond is probably in the rare breed of wrestlers that manage to keep themselves in good shape and good health and didn't die from drug-overdose."
[6.0] "Another solid tag team specialist like his brother Jacques. Although his brother had more charisma and could do the comedy stuff. Retired relatively early full time and instead went into commentary and interviewer. One of the few guys who knew how to manage his money and proved that you didn't have to end up a drunk druggy junky who blew through his savings by 1992."
[6.0] "He wasn't as good as brother Jacques in the ring, but he was a slightly better promo. I really loved he and Jacques during their All American Boys phase."
