After a while he showed all of his limits (the worst one is the lack of impact of moveset) and got lost in the crowded MR. The only good match of him was against Finn Balor."
[2.0] "If smoke and mirrors was a wrestler it would be Karrion Kross. A kinda cool entrance and some good big moves...but he's just super boring. People can argue EVIL is the same but EVIL looks cooler than Kross who just comes off super generic and boring. He was pushed to the moon in NXT for what? [2.0] "There's just nothing there. He isn't exciting in the ring and outside of it. His gimmicks and facials seem very cringy and poorly acted. Yes, Kross looks like a star but that alone just isn't enough to be in any big storyline. I just wonder why he still gets booked like he's a big deal when everybody is just over him."
[3.0] "I don't get this guy at all. He's not exciting to watch in the ring. He's not captivating on the mic. To me he's the modern day Marc Mero in that his manager/wife is far more interesting than him. He's got a good physique but that's his only positive quality. What does Triple H see in this dude? To me, he's a waste of a roster spot. Vince made the right call to fire him in 2021 but Triple H bringing him back a year later just baffles me."
[5.0] "I don't get this one. He's not a disaster but he's kinda boring. OK he has no worthy storyline but even when he's in the ring nothing really clicks for me. His entrance is OK, with that B&W going colors right when the music goes mad and he suddenly appears behind Scarlett but that's all. He looks better with hair than bald but he still lacks a real story maybe and he has to prove his in-ring skilss"
[3.0] "Really bad wrestler, don't like quite anything about him. He's not good in the ring, and is very boring and uncharismatic on the mic and as a character. Absolutely generic persona and with undeserving push several times. Very few interesting acts in his entire career."

He's charismatic, his video series with the same name on his YouTube channel has captivated me, he's an excellent promo, he's tall and has a dark attractive look alongside his wife Scarlett. The only noticeable flaw he has to me is his ringwork, but he's still okay and capable of putting on good matches. From live event clips, he seems to be getting over with the fans even after the tragic booking he's had, which leads into the most important point. The biggest issue Kross has is his presentation. If he is not a dominant force of nature bulldozing the division, then his character, which has had minimal changes his entire wrestling career, doesn't work whatsoever. This wasn't an issue in NXT, however when he made his return to the WWE in 2022, the roster was saturated with heel champions, leading to him being unneeded at the time and only being used to eat pins for babyfaces. I'm not 100% confident his presentation will ever get better which is a shame, as he's one of my favorite wrestlers out right now."
[4.0] "Despite it's been overposted on Twitter, Adam Cole's promo he did on Karrion Kross hit the nail on why Kross sucked. He's just an entrance, look and has an attractive valet, that's it. He sucks in the ring, but what do you expect from someone who was trained by Disco Inferno?"

Vince taking Scarlett away from him, putting a mask on him and giving him a dumb gladiator gimmick when he was first called up a while back really exposed his flaws for the world to see. After he was released, he didn't do really much of anything noteworthy on the indy scene before making a big splash return to WWE with great excitement and fanfare. Except after that, hes's done nothing. He's this generation's Marc Mero except with a better built"
[4.0] "I saw him starting from his Impact days to now. I'll say that he's far from worse and will agree that he can give good matches when given the chance. His gimmick is different from others and has a decent "threatening" presence gimmick wise. However, it comes off as a little pretentious to me because he looks and tries too hard. And also, I just personally don't like him as a person considering how he handled his Impact contract because of how he valued himself. I get that he wanted more money (if there's any good reason why), but the way he came off seems a little egotistical to me."
[5.0] "He is time, famine and war. Unfortunately a felt for him, hespretty mediocre. Now, Im not going ti say Kross is a bad wrestler. Far from it, he can get you a decent to good match on most nights and when hes with the right dance partner, he can give you something special. Thats just it. Its if you can give him the right dance partner. The problem with Karrion Kross is that outside of being a big man with vague occult like gimmick aspects, theres really not much to him. His promos are fine, but nothing special, he has the size for WWE, but other men are bigger, which wouldnt be a problem if he didnt lack the star quality his gimmick needs. You cant even say this is a Mero/Sable situation either cause I dont think Scarlett has done all that much to warrant it. Theres a reason why WWE cooled his push recently, hes just not a top draw. And thats fine! You need midcard hands for a promotion. Good enough to destroy undercard fools, sometimes gets the upper hand on midcarders, but if youre looking to give him a top-flight run, that doesnt bode well for your companys depth."
[3.0] "One of the most boring wrestler on planet earth, he sucked in MLW he sucked in NXT and now he sucks in the main roster. His character is awful his promos are very cringe and his facial expressions are just laughable. I give him 3 points because his in ring skills are okay and he's not a problematic guy"

It's been almost a year since he returned and it's not surprising to me that they haven't done anything with him. [8.0] "He was never an outstanding wrestler on the caliber of Ciampa, Gargano, Balor, Black, Zayn etc. BUT when booked correctly, alongside Scarlett (intimidating entrance, monster gimmick, promo duels) he does come off as a big deal. It worked in nxt and now that Hunter is head of creative, I can see Kross thriving on Smackdown. His main roster stint was really bizarre and disappointing, as if Vince wanted him to fail (the same can be said concerning the main roster booking of many guys, Keith Lee comes to mind). The guy is still 37, while he might not have another decade in him, at least as a top guy, I can see him prominently booked for the next couple of years."
[1.0] "On his absolute best day Kross is an average in-ring worker with a very basic, boring move-set. He's no good on the mic, has negative charisma and a generic look. Seriously, this guy sucked the life out of the main event scene of NXT for months with his undeserved, boring mega push, where he was continuously put over wrestlers who were so far above him in every aspect, it sucked. I even hated his cringe inducing entrance, which was the only thing most people liked about him. Prior to WWE he was trash in AAA and a waste of air time in Lucha Underground, I didn't see his work in Impact, but I struggle to imagine it was any good. It was surely no coincidence that there was no real interest in him after his WWE release, he wrestled here and there on the indies with little fanfare. With all that said, I still watch NXT and have just now returned to Raw, so my heart sank when I heard Triple H, who for some reason loves the guy, wanted to bring him back to WWE. To my relief, I have no plans to watch Smackdown any time soon and that is where he made his return, so hopefully he stays there."
[10.0] "Absolutely loving Karrion Kross persona from NXT, and Impact, Killer/Karrion Kross grew in my eyes as character, he is fucking beast, monster, destroying everything what stands in front of him and I love it, he is nailing it on microphone and anything bad I can say about him is only kind of lack of the ring skill, but come on, some of the top guys today also lacks something in ring skill but they are still main eventers and entertaining for characters, and so Karrion is for me too, deserved 10"

Auch ist er noch mal besser geworden, hat Scarlett geheiratet und hat einfach wieder Spaß am wrestlen und Titel gewinnen."
[3.0] "The weirdest manufactured hype train I think I've seen in wrestling the past 10 years. His work in impact and AAA didnt warrant any hype yet once he got to the wwe he was treated as a star? Nothing and I mean NOTHING he did in nxt said he'd be more than a nice mid card act. The dude is just so average everywhere he goes. At least with most guys you can point to character work or good in ring stuff but no. I dont get it"
[3.0] "Solid but unspectacular. His mic work and charisma are ok and in the ring he's average at best. He can deliver some good moments and ok matches but not consistently. He's more of a character and presentation but actually delivering the goods leaves a lot to be desired. Good presence and look though. WWE did him no favors when they got rid of everything that made him special. He was doomed to fail from the start without the presentation NXT provided him as he's not good enough to make it without the smoke and mirrors. I wasn't expecting him to succeed but I also didn't see such a quick failure and it would have been nice if WWE gave him a proper chance. We are in an era of so many talented stars though that he will get lost easily and overall, he's at best below average."
[8.0] "Kross is able to put on a good match and even his squashes in NXT (if they were not long and if he did not just destroy already big stars like Ciampa) I think was impressive and he was good in his role. Brutal man of few words with epic entrances, accompanied by Scarlett. WWE was the pinnacle of his career before his run on Raw ofc. In Impact he was a mid-carder, in Mexico he was not particularly remembered, and in Lucha Underground he made his debut by the time the company was slowly dying and he only wresled in two matches. He didn't speak much in NXT, but his promos from his time in independent scene showed that he was also a good charismatic speaker. 8 points."

NXT hid his flaws with clever character work and people bumping for him, but he's got zero charisma and I can list the amount of memorable matches he's had on 3, maybe 4 fingers. He's just a generic "tough guy with tattoos that also pretends to do MMA" dime a dozen workers with shitty "intense" glaring into the camera moments that look incredibly cringe. Boredom incarnate, it's not exactly surprising that his inability to have a gimmick (or wrestle to a reasonably decent level on TV matches) doomed him almost at once. Yes, his gimmicks were dumb, but if you listen to the guy himself, he was mostly pitching them to a large extent. But yeah, bad promos, kinda lackluster appeal and a general sense of apathy from even the smarkist of smarks even at his peak: not hard to see why people aren't a fan."
[2.0] "I gotta be honest, this guy just sucks. Devout of any charisma whatsoever, and the most boring in-ring style I have ever seen. Overpushed in NXT and completely flopped on the main roster for a reason."

In the ring, he's not atrocious or anything, he's just so BORING. In fact, that's the word I would use to describe him as a whole. Ich hoffe nur dass die Person Kevin Kesar mit diesem Flop-Debüt und alles was danach kommt zumindest finanziell was davon hat, weil auf den World Title hat er mit Vince am Steuer voraussichtlich so viele Chancen wie Heath Slater."
[4.0] "A lot of hype was behind Kross when he signed with NXT. People seemed to think he had a great look that Vince would love. I don't know what those people were looking at because he has the most generic look you could think of and isn't especially physically imposing unless compared to the NXT roster. And in this case you can judge a book by its cover because in the ring he is just as generic."
[7.0] "(Completely ignoring how terribly he's been booked on Raw because Vince has a hard-on for burying NXT guys) A solid mix of great character work and decent in-ring skills. While I personally have liked his current run as NXT champion, he's an odd fit for NXT where in-ring talent is regarded so highly. Nowhere was this more obvious than the Fatal Five-Way match at Takeover: In Your House. Not a bad match at all - on the contrary, I thought the match was fantastic, but Kross had little to do with that. When you take four of the best in-ring workers NXT has (Cole, O'Reilly, Gargano, and Dunne), there was no way Kross was gonna be able to catch up. His wrestling style is almost a perfect fit for the main roster. With the right booking, Karrion Kross could go very far in the main roster."
[5.0] "His highlights come when he is booked as a strong monster with Scarlett, in-ring work isn't terrible kind of feels like he relies on his opponents to sell the match but still good. Kinda hard to get behind him with his recent losses though. Booking is extremely important."

"It would be a challenge to come up with a more generic and bland wrestler than Kross. Having Scarlett and a super push in NXT can't make up for how dull he is in every aspect of the game. With his looming exit of NXT he may not have much more time in the spotlight."

But you guys should understand that wrestling is not just about in-ring work. Kross plays his scary heel character perfectly and he's already the most dominant champion in NXT history in my opinion. Other than that he has one of the best entrances in the pro wrestling world, his valet/gf Scarlett is so sexy and so, he has the "it" factor. I just take one point away from his mediocre in-ring work, but once he sorts that out, he's ready to become the next face of WWE. He gets a 9/10 from me."
[9.0] "His NXT run hasn't been perfect but this man is a monster and his post IMPACT indie run was nothing short of immense. Give him some time, he will deliver in the role of top champion, he has the juice."

Kross is a huge guy with a very good entrance and a pretty wife as his manager. THIS SCREAMS MAIN ROSTER. In ring wise, Kross is far from bad, but not impressive, he just does things that anyone else can do. If I was booking Kross, I'd have him on RAW as a top guy having fast-paced hoss matches with the likes of Lashley, Drew, Braun, Sheamus etc. and squashing guys like the Miz, Riddle etc. He'd be more over than he is right now."

Ich sehe in ihm keinen Undertaker-Typ und auch keinen Lesnar-Typ, sondern eine Art Antiheld, eine Mischung aus Batista, Goldberg und sogar ein wenig Stone Cold Steve Austin, der als solcher das Topface eines Brands werden könnte, der einen Werdegang wie Austins KotR Turnier im Main Roster gehen könnte, um im Mainstream ganz an die Spitze zu kommen. Scarlett als seine Valet ist dabei noch das grandiose I-Tüpfelchen, die ihm durch ihre wunderbare Aura zu großem Mainstream-Ruhm verhelfen kann und allein durch ihre Outfits viele Casual-Fans beeindrucken wird. Noch ist er im Ring manchmal etwas unbeholfen, weswegen mir sein Alter zwar diesbezüglich ein paar Sorgen macht, aber ich habe das Vertrauen, dass er das hinkriegt. Die WWE-Trainer sollten ihm Extra-Stunden um Extra-Stunden geben, damit er dieses Potential entfesseln kann. EDIT nach TakeOver Stand and Deliver: Hat nun sein erstes fantastisches Match abgeliefert und zeigt Fortschritte in der Exekution im Ring, Aufwertung auf 8 Punkte."
[2.0] "He seemed to stand out enough from the others - the cold stare, the ingratiating voice, when he talked about himself in the GFW episode. It was only a matter of time before he appeared in the big leagues in the future. By then I had heard more about him, but hadn't seen him. And now he has made his debut in Impact - intimidating look, powerful theme, a real hitman. And here he comes into the ring... And there's no talent here. Absolute. Zero. Talent. He often shows how he swings his legs high on social media, some martial arts... But where is it in the matches? Any of it? ... The turning point for him began in Impact when he sent Taya to the hospital with a powerbomb and it was a great moment to show his true qualities. But what happened? Nothing. Impact gave too much to this overrated "wrestler" (cough-cough) and he gave nothing. Absolutely nothing. He's good at talking, good at making faces, but nothing more. I honestly believed his time had come and I was about to see a new star take off. He may think he's good in the ring himself, but I think he's catastrophically mistaken - I'm sure WWE fans have mixed feelings about this. They were announced a star and in the end it was a flop, very BIG flop, massive flop. In general - 2 points. Overhyped, overrated Kevin Kross. These words should be adjacent in the dictionary."
[2.0] "This rating is only based on his current 2020-2021 NXT run. // Presentation: His entrance with Scarlett is like something that got rejected from Eurovision. Incredibly cheesy and makes him look like a goof. // Promos: Incoherent doomsday rambling that is on the same plane of existence as Bray Wyatt's worst tendencies. // In-ring: Almost non-existent selling. Boring heel control segments. Low impact strikes. Decent to good suplexes. Very little drama or stakes built up in big matches. Squashes are fairly bland, even for squashes. Needs a good opponent to carry him, and even then struggles. // Conclusion: One of the worst characters to be consistently in a main event placement on a show in at least a decade. Tries to wrestle like a hoss but without the physique. Is given a flashy entrance but still comes across as a generic boots 'n' trunks guy. Seemingly can't deliver a good match in a big spot. Is at the point where he needs to either be cycled down the card for a character re-tool, or administration should cut their losses on the contract."

Sometimes it work but I'm not really sure Karrion Kross have what it takes to stay relevant when NXT will give him his first defeat"
[10.0] "He is a gimmick god. Yes, he can't wrestle like the other 10 rated wrestlers in the modern world, but that's not the point. Also he's not as bad as everyone says, if you want an example, go and watch his match against Davey Boy Smith Jr. at Bloodsport 2019. His in-ring performance absolutely not awful, he is an average wrestler at modern times. Let's talk about his gimmick performance. He is incredibly amazing with his gimmick and his promos are god level. He's like he lives his gimmick. For examples, you can look out his youtube channel. He has a potential to become the top guy wherever he's at. He had an unfortunate shoulder injury and vacated his championship. Lately he returned and continues like a loose cannon. No matter what anyone says, he has a class and he will become the top guy wherever he wrestles."
[6.0] "Good wrestler, good look, good moveset. Has looked like a star wherever he's gone. Is unfortunately incredibly unprofessional as seen in the cases of MLW and Impact, leaving them high and dry in spite of them treating him as a star, and especially because nobody would know or care about him if it weren't for Impact, who he had a contract dispute based on greed."
[9.0] "Killer Kross mag vielleicht nicht der Beste im Ring sein, jedoch ist sein Gimmick richtig stark und das setzt er auch perfekt um. [5.0] "Entrance ist gut aber er muss ja auch im Ring was zeigen. Da kann er aus meiner Sicht noch deutlich zulegen und hat aktuell noch genug schwächen. Scheint aber als würden viele Fans dies wegen dem Entrance nicht mehr merken."
[9.0] "He has a menacing look and a lot of natural charisma. Seeing some of his past work, a pretty good wrestler too. His gimmick doesn't allow him to look good with a championship unfortunately. That may change in time."
[7.0] "Kross has an awesome look, but for as long as he's been around, he has not done too much inside the ring. Lucha Underground, Impact, even from what I've seen of him in Bar Wrestling... same thing everywhere: great look, very little in the ring. He's gone from Impact now, so it will be interesting to see if AEW wants to pick him up. I have to admit, if he & Scarlett showed up at the end of the first episode of AEWonTNT, that would be pretty exciting."
[8.0] "Let's get one thing clear; Killer Kross has the presence and the character of a legitimate, monster heel. I like that he uses his MMA/Judo background towards his ring work, but with that said, he is already 33 years old, and his work rate has not reached its peak. When you think of people with intimidating presences like Walter or Samoa Joe, those guys were already ahead of the curve before they reached their 30s. So, if he really wants to be a main-event heel in the WWE, his in-ring abilities need to improve NOW!"
[7.0] "Don't know why Kross is rated so low, he is not bad in the ring and his gimmick is pretty interesting and he plays his gimmick very well. Kross is very intense, everything Kross does is very intense and he plays to his characters strengths. Not horrible in the ring either, the guy can have a decent to good match."
[8.0] "What are you guys smoking? There is no way Kross is a 3 in the Wrestling World. He has great presence, he is intense, menacing, has a great look and has a few great moves. He is also good and comfortable portraying his gimmicks. He is not an elite in-ring worker, but even there he is pretty ok."

He looks, strides and talks like he believes 100% he is that character and gimmick, something which is desperately needed in the dime a dozen high-spotting, knees-to-the-faceing, dead-lift german suplexing, sperkicking, apron-headfirst-moveing, wrestling world of today."
[7.0] "I don't get why his rating is so low, maybe because it's I haven't watch his work outside of Impact, so I'm only rating him based on what he did there. Anyway, I think he is decent in the ring judging from what I've seen, he's got a good look, and he is very intense, which is what I like the most about him."
[4.0] "This guy was as green as grass and AAA tried to push him as some kind of monster. Unfortunately, he didn't look that much bigger than his opponents, so seeing him barely selling moves was just preposterous. I can buy a guy that looks as big as Ryback no-selling, but this guy is certainly no Ryback in the physique department. He was pushed at the wrong time, and naturally, fans in Mexico didn't really care for him. If you thought Jinder Mahal's main event push in WWE was a failed experiment, get a load of Kevin Kross..."
