Originally, Toni Storm was someone who had great potential, her in-ring work along with her Power Rangers-adjacent theme made for a good wrestler to look out for, but things didn't go necessarily correct for Toni and eventually she ended up in AEW. Her beginning there was good but it wouldn't be until late 2023 where Toni Storm would leave the horrendous stable known as 'The Outcasts' and went out on her own to show the world that her potential was limitless, and of course, TIMELESS (no pun intended)! When Toni started with the Timeless character, it was an immediate hit and she won back the world championship not so long after losing it. Her feuds with the likes of Mariah May and Mercedes Mone were cool to watch and credit where credit is due, the matches she's had with them were great, even though her other matches have been lackluster and forgettable at best unfortunately. The Timeless character is just amazing though, take a look at the content she has had with Muscle Malcolm, Denise Salcedo, even the post-show scrum reporters; Everything Toni has done and said during the interviews have been fantastic and a breath of fresh air. I am a Jamie Hayter fan but I wouldn't disagree with anyone who says that Toni Storm is a lock for AEW Women's Wrestler of the decade, she has to be near the top after all. Great work all-around by Toni Storm and I will say this; Give Toni a Tony Award!"

She made her work in the ring, gimmicks is now her goal with titles coming her way one day or tomorrow. Shes riding to the edge and hopefully the fans will catch her."

There's uses for characters like this but pushing this kind of stuff as the main attraction of a women's division that already gets scraps is pretty sad stuff but not unexpected given she's the successor to Britt Baker since she's on the outs now I guess. Oh well, you can't kill what was never alive in the first place anyway."

Toni's portrayal of the out of touch Hollywood star from the golden age was so good, that despite the idea of her being a heel fans cheered for her and made her face themselves, without the need for Toni to make a proper turn. The heel turn that Mariah May did on her and the forthcoming feud has all the potential to become an all time great feud."

I remember watching he do a Minoru Suzuki tribute once doing a Gotch pile driver on a stuffed animal. In WWE she was okay, but never really caught on super well. In a later interview with Renee Paquette she talked about hating WWE in that she felt micro managed. In AEW she was good for a while and actually put on great matches often, but eventually she switched her character to a Mid Atlantic style black and white actress gimmick. I know it sounds ridiculous and it was / is. But just as Orange Cassidy learned how to mix his character with his wrestling Toni has done just that. Over time, she brought Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa into her crew. Initially characterized by themes of angst, paranoia, and anger, the character evolved to embrace happiness, friendship, and love. When Mariah May won the Owen Hart Tournament on July 10, 2024, she embraced her best friend and significant influence, Toni Storm. They were set to face each other in London, Mariah's hometown, for Toni's title. However, Mariah violently attacked Toni during their entrance. This sequence was remarkable because, for the first time in Toni's career, I felt genuine sympathy. Even if Toni never wrestles again, her performances in Stardom, her extensive career at a young age, her influence, and her character development in AEW secure her a place in the HOF."

She was damn good in ring had the look had the charisma only thing she didnt have was a character but she was still beloved. Now flash forward like a year or two she got the character but lost the in ring. As a character she was gold but its getting stale & her matches show that wrestle wrestle spot with Luther one girl is in control other girl makes comeback most likely another Luther spot close call & then Toni wins cue black & white & Mariah May. While not exactly that you get the point Tonis matches have a formula her feuds are dry & they constantly remind us they want the best Toni the one who was winning gold in stardom wrestling wars across the UK & Australian indie scene but when it gets to the match she doesnt do shit close to the point where it makes me wonder why they hype it up? Like are they trying to remind us of her achievements are they trying to remind Toni? Cause the hype of we want old Toni never matches up. She had that with both Deonna & Mina. Tonis gotten such a big push & is on her 3rd womens championship reign in the past 2 years & I think its time to change it up for Toni because she truly went from the girl everyone hyped for her in ring work to the girl who gets overrated because she used to be good."

Kudos to most promoters for cutting their losses and just moving on from her, unfortunately AEW seems committed to making a flat joke the center of their women's division (for the second time actually). It ultimately doesn't matter with how that division is booked but still unfortunate."

It seems for quite a long time in the US promotions simply just don't know how to book Toni right, WWE enjoyed making her a jobber and throwing pies in her face. AEW so far has at least put her more in the spotlight given her 2 title reigns which she handled nicely albeit they were both not thought out and unplanned transitional type of reigns where it seemed like Toni was just the champ until a PPV came around and whoever the big babyface was could take her place. Toni is having a resurgence in her career through her latest change in her gimmick though, she is turning away from The Outcasts stable which in my opinion really brought her down and she would of been more of a 6 or 7 had she still been with them but with the latest promos and segments the mic work has been absolutely amazing from her and Toni finds a way to make people actually care about the AEW women's division with her story."

I've always view her as a competent mid-carder, but due to her physical attributes, promoters tend to push her way beyond her actual talent level. Look what happened in Progress, look what happened in NXT UK, and don't even get me started on her Stardom run, god, it still pisses me off to this day. I'll update this rating if she proves me wrong in AEW, but as of right now, she's a 5-6 wrestler overall. I may be a bit on an island on this one, but I think Storm's current character feels like a gag. I don't enjoy it as much as I did her heel stuff a few months ago. When she arrived at a aew, I thought she was likable and talented, but she improved plenty. Her heelwork was my favorite aspect of her career at that point. But the current timeless gimmick is more miss than hit for me. I hope she figures it out because it has potential with fans, but I think it's either at the early stages of an eventual gimmick change or an early flash of a potential star gimmick. She will figure out her character either way, but it will be from something very different or completely different from her current one. I returned to my comment months later afraid I ranked her too low. But I think this is fair. At least I am waiting for the gimmick to be over or to find its legging. I feel like this will be a fun gimmick she brings back later in her career. But she will move on from it before the end of 2026."

Toni Storm had succeeded in STARDOM, PROGRESS and wXw among other promotions, she won the Mae Young Classic while emerging in WWE, and then the NXT UK Women's Championship, and she had a fun brief run in NXT. However, she was barely used when she got to SmackDown, and had a horrendous feud with Charlotte Flair that involved pies and crying. No wonder she felt enough was enough. AEW was going OK, although the rock star gimmick ran its course there, and then she was in The Outcasts for a while with Ruby Soho and Saraya, but things really took off once she started the "Timeless Toni Storm" character, where she believes she's a fading 1950s actress, and it's led to her becoming AEW's top female star. I wouldn't be surprised if WWE took her back on much more favourable terms if the gimmick and her performances continue to grow."
[5.0] "Toni was one of the few genuinely good wrestlers on the AEW women's roster, and more than capable of having genuinely good matches, not just matches that were "good by women's standards", but she's sadly completely fallen off into this awful sPoRtS eNtErTaInMeNt hole with her hilariously bad "timeless Toni" character. It's insane how some people actually enjoy this, when all it is is Toni hamming up her facial expressions and delivery to a 10 as she pretends to be a 40s film actress or whatever. I initially didn't mind her transition to being a bit more boastful and deluded, since that fit with her mental 'trauma' following her loss of the AEW Women's Title, but she just way too heavily committed to this new character to the point that it's really off-putting and even intelligence-insulting with how we're all expected to think that someone pretending to be a film star from 80 years ago is somehow funny, and it makes all the other on-screen characters around her look even more stupid for indulging her and playing along. What makes even less sense is that if this character really was, in storyline, spurred on by her mental trauma from losing the Women's Title, well okay, she's regained it now, so why is she still stuck doing the same bit? The sad truth is that some people enjoy wrestling solely for the childish overacting and catchphrases, so as soon as this got over with a vocal minority of fans, her and Tony Khan figured it was smart to stick to it. The result is that one of AEW's few genuinely impressive female wrestlers is now stuck playing a comedy character, and each month this continues will just make it harder and harder for Toni to ever be taken seriously again. The only positive I can say about this character, however downright stupid it is, is that Toni is playing it as well as possible, as she's more than happy to look like a total goofball every single second she's on the camera. I don't think that's at all smart for her character, and I think it makes her incredibly pretentious and outright off-putting, but hey, she's doing exactly as intended, I guess. If this character continues for a few more months, which unfortunately looks to be the case, then I'll have to drop my rating even further, as the hard-hitting Toni Storm of long ago continues to fade from memory."

[8.0] "I remember 7 or 8 years ago when I didn't get the hype for Toni Storm among PROGRESS & Stardom fans (even as a watcher of both at the time). Now she's easily one of my favorite women in the business just to watch. Back in her indie/joshi days she was a bit of a heavy striker but I mostly found her work kind of dull and her gimmick pretty tame, and her WWE run didn't really leave any strong impression on me (a few solid matches across both NXT brands), but I honestly think that in AEW Toni has finally "clicked" with me. Perhaps her in-ring improvement mostly happened in WWE, but AEW has absolutely been where Toni has gotten her promo and character work down, and that combined with better wrestling has lead her to be a top attraction in the division to me. That said, I find her to be the kind of worker that needs strong chemistry with her opponent to shine; women like Jinny, Io Shirai, & Jamie Hayter are among those have brought the best out of Toni Storm, and I hope as she improves we can see her best against anybody on any given night. I'd have given her a 6 any time before the past year, but right now I feel very confident in this 8."

Lady I have heard what skull on skull violence sounds like many times and it doesn't not sound like a slap, it's a thud. I'm sure she's nice in real life, but as a pro wrestler, She's so damn overrated."

Many admired her when she left Stardom and moved to WWE, but she didn't really show anything special in Stardom. But what about other opponents? She didn't do well in NXT, and now in AEW she shows one bad match after another. Tony has an effect look and charisma, but she has always been average in the ring. [8.0] "It's been a while since I've sat and watched a Toni Storm match, but I remember always enjoying her work quite a bit. While she's great in-ring, I think the best thing about Toni is her psychology. She's able to work a crowd better than wrestlers who've been around a decade longer than she has."

Glück tritt Storm nicht mehr bei Stardom auf."
[4.0] "Toni is often said to be one of the best wrestlers in the world... but I think it's been quite a while since she offered at least something decent for what they supposedly say she is, in NXT/UK she hasn't done anything really outstanding and in STARDOM in my opinion her reign (Red Belt) was rubbish."
[6.0] "Toni Storm is someone who has a cool look, but is underwhelming with everything else. Her promos are whiny, whether she's a face or a heel. She's not convincing in either role. Her matches always underwhelm compared to expectations. She had a great match with Meiko a few years ago, a really good one in Progress against Jinny and Laura Di Matteo in a triple threat for the Women's title, also some quality matches against Io, but the rest of her matches are just meh. She's been in the business for over a decade and people still talk about her potential. I wish I could give her higher, but I have to give her a 6 and that feels too nice."
[6.0] "Is Toni Storm good in the ring? Yes, she is. But is she great? Of course not. She seems to have plateau'd a couple of years back and may even have got a bit worse in the meantime due to accumulated injuries. But that's not the problem I have with her. My bone is she's a very bland character in the ring and outside of it: yes, she had good matches but has she ever had a a good promo? Has she ever showed charisma and personality in the ring? In Japan she stood out because of her looks, and in the indies because of her in-ring skills. But in the WWE system right now neither her looks nor her in-ring skills are unique and unless she kicks into higher gear (or becomes the pet project of one of the bookers) she will be lost in the shuffle."
[7.0] "Kenne sie seit vielen Jahren und bin immer zufrieden mit dem was sie zeigt. Bei wXw hat sie mich auf jeden Fall überzeugt. Bei NXT/NXT UK wird sie leider nicht so in Szene gesetzt wie sie es meiner Meinung nach braucht. [5.0] "Finde sie ziemlich overrated. Klar sie ist nicht die schlechteste im Ring, aber das ganz große Match habe ich von ihr jetzt auch noch nicht gesehen (Ausnahmen bilden Matches bei Stardom). Sie kann mit der Crowd connecten, aber sonderlich charismatisch finde ich sie eigentlich nicht. Das Glam-Metal/Motley Crüe Gimmick gefällt mir auch nicht sonderlich und am Mic hab ich von ihr auch noch keine überdurchschnittliche Promo gesehen. Sie ist insgesamt nicht schlecht, aber sie wird sehr overrated und ist insgesamt nicht mehr als durchschnitt, bei NXT UK gibt es weit bessere Talente."
[8.0] "There is a reason she was picked as the leading face of the NXT UK Womens divison. She has an great moveset and is one of the best female in ring talents of the current time. She already feels like one of the biggest stars in the UK and i cant wait to see what she will do in the future."
[9.0] "The fact that Toni is only 22 is absolutely incredible. She is great in the ring and the crowds really get behind her. Beautiful move set. She has gone toe to toe with legends such as Meiko Satamura and Io Shirai and she still held her own despite them wrestling for longer then she's been alive (Meiko at least)"

She was one of the MVPs of the MYC, and her work in Stardom is impressive in its own right. At just 22, there's no rush to commit to a majors fed, as she can only get better."
[10.0] "Toni Storm is 21 years old and has won championships in Stardom, Progress, a few other promotions. She just recently worked the Mae Young classic and did very well from what I've heard. She is a solid wrestler that has shown signs of being able to work various styles. She has adopted the hard hitting style of Stardom, the fluid British style, along with the ability to pickup the WWE/NXT styles. Anyone saying Toni Storm can't work, doesn't know crap about wrestling. Toni will be a huge star if/when she is signed to the WWE. Much like Paige, at such a young age, Toni is better than most women that have been in the business a lot longer. Toni will be the face of women's wrestling."
[2.0] "I think it'd be accurate to call Toni Storm the most overhyped wrestler on the independents. I just don't get it, not at all. Toni has half-decent babyface charisma, she has a good snap German and a nice piledriver. Those are just about the only good things I can say about her work. She's an incredibly middling promo, most of her other offense is mediocre, she's not great at telling stories or structuring matches, and she's very sloppy (she just recently broke Io Shirai's neck off a piledriver). She's worked extensively with arguably the two best women in the world today (Io Shirai & Jinny) and has barely had enough good matches to count on one hand between all of her bouts against them. That right there is as damning an indictment as anything; the inability to have a good match with even top-level talent. I have nothing against Toni personally, she seems very nice, but she's just not good as a talent from my perspective."
[8.0] "Contrary to the high praises given to this young woman (and none of the praise I disagree with either), I must keep a realistic grounding. I'll never discourage anyone from wanting to do great things but to say a future with WWE is absolute may be a stretch. I am impressed with Toni in all aspects. She is sweet on the eyes and knows her business in the ring. Athletic and beautiful. A great and fortunate combination. I do raise concern for a pursuit in the WWE because the politics of the company firstly play in the destiny of newcoming talent. Toni could well connect with the audience with her looks and in-ring ability sure, but the fear for the powers that be in WWE would be: could or would Toni overshadow our established divas? ie. the cast of Total Divas (Bellas, Natalya, etc). She definitely has the talent to blow up NXT with dynamite excitement and generate or expand on her fan following, but NXT would likely be as far as she'd be allowed to be in. If nothing else, guest match work would be a good start. I think Japan's circuit would treat her better than WWE would. The minute the WWE lost interest in Toni, whether after 1 year or two years or maybe just less than a year, that's it. WWE career over. So my advice would be for Toni to approach any WWE opportunities with great caution. Other than that, keep lighting up the rings around the world and in Japan at Stardom. Nothing but best wishes to a long and successful career Toni."

[9.0] "I'm not sure of many things in this world, but I am 100% positive that Toni Storm will be a big star in professional wrestling. Be it in Japan or in WWE, mark my words, she will be a massive star. She has everything a company would look for in a face of a company and she's only 20 years old. How WWE is not blowing up her phone right now to get her to the states is mind blowing to me. If you still doubt her greatness, please watch her 2016 matches on YouTube or if you can, try watching any of her matches in Stardom. You'll thank me later. I'd give her 10, but I don't think any wrestler is a 10, but she's damn close."
