317.11.2023JediSaiyanMaster12035.0Crash Holly is a case of someone who was just okay, nothing that stood out, but nothing that was abysmal that it made you want to change the channel. As a wrestler, he was mediocre at best, he was exposed when he didn't do hardcore matches. As a character, he worked fine, but nothing special. Overall, a decent comedy act who was a mid card guy who's only claim to fame is winning the Hardcore Championship a lot. R.I.P. Crash Holly

1025.05.2023Giantfan19805.0Another talent lost too soon. Crash didn't have the size but he had charisma and character 3 times bigger than some of the lumbering stiff on the roster and he was actually quite accomplished skill wise in the ring. Relegated to mostly hardcore match comedy and some cruiserweight spots, doing jobs on Velocity. Just too small.

1308.05.2023face painted legend8.0Crash tipped the scales at well over 400 lbs which sized him up well against anyone on the WWF roster at the time. He was the Houdini of Hardcore and to me was the guy who put the hardcore title on the map, especially once the 24/7 title defense thing was introduced by him on television. All of his defenses were creative, entertaining, done in different locations, and ways were found to work the 24/7 rule against any size or aged opponent which made every segment/match must watch t.v.. He was wrestling Viscera one week and Gerald Brisco the next with the title on the line, and everything made sense. He was also very successful as a tag team wrestler, alongside his older cousin Bob. For that era, they beat a who's who of great tag teams in the short time that they were together -- New Age Outlaws, Too Cool, Hardyz, The APA, and they won the tag titles by beating The Rock and Mick Foley (yes you read that correctly lol). It's wild to me that he was only around for close to 4 years because hes' a name I personally talk about as if he's was around 20 years due to all of the unbelievably memorable moments, entertaining segments, and over the top matches that he was involved in, in such a short amount of time.

2420.02.2022Conquistador378.0Our boy Elroy! He elevated the Hardcore title to it's highest point! Crash Holly was probably THE reason to not miss an episode of RAW in 2000. Every hardcore match involving him kept your eyes glued and your stomach aching from laughter. The guy was born to entertain and it's a horrible shame he died so young, I would have paid good money to hear shoots from him. His chemistry with practically any/everyone was off the charts because he always put in his ALL, he elevated anyone he was in the ring or room with. Unfortunately his size meant Vince would never let him past "enhancement talent" (what did I say about elevating others eh? ) and far too soon he was relegated to such work on the C & D shows. It didn't take long for his love for the business to be squeezed out from what I've heard. Do yourself a favor, watch every Crash Holly match ever, please. he's so much fun! 8.25 rounded down, A whole lotta "what could have been" and that sucks.

3920.10.2019DanTalksRasslin6.0In the ring, Crash may not have been a standout lightweight worker of his era, especially as compared to, say, those that frequented WCW's cruiserweight division, but he was capable enough and could play the underdog role well. His greatest strength, though was his entertainment abilities, as he was very funny and likable as either a goofy babyface or Napoleon-complex heel. His tag work with Hardcore Holly was memorable, especially as they adopted the "superheavyweights" gimmick, and he was arguably the best holder of the WWF Hardcore Title in terms of entertainment value.
4025.09.2019zephyr5.0Solid wrestler but did nothing to make himself memorable. Would have likely improved and become a minor star if it weren't for his untimely death.
4127.07.2019KyleEnjoysWrestling7.0I typically will hate on most comedy gimmicks, but this is an example of one that worked for me. Crash had great chemistry with his cousin Hardcore and the subtle jokes he made regarding his weight always got a laugh out of me. He was just a super likable guy & the scale he would carry around with his was a really nice touch. He also worked really well with the APA & he did something for the Hardcore Title that they are trying to recapture now with the 24/7 Title.
4207.01.2019JEK 19915.0What can I say about him? Well he was a great brawler and great at hardcore wrestling. Very quick in the ring. Tired to be a underdog. His wrestling skills weren't that great. I remember him losing all the time. The 6"6 600 lbs with the weight scale gimmick was stupid. great entertainer. Sad he died so young and could have seen more of him.

4907.01.2018Devitciiu8.0Crash was one of the most entertaining wrestlers of 2000. Little Elroy, made me laugh all the time. His interactions with the APA were astounding. I can't remember what happened to Crash after Wrestlemania X7 so maybe my opinion is uninformed, but the 18 months I remember were incredibly delightful.

5413.11.2016steviecw8.0I loved this guy. Easy to forget how decorated he was in WWF/WWE but Harcore Championship, European Championship, World Tag Team Championship and Light Heavyweight Championship. Short reigns but a pretty incredible career for a smaller stature comedy wrestler. Give him credit also for brief runs in ECW and TNA. I miss him. RIP.

5818.05.2016The Chosen One5.0Great hardcore wrestler but when he is in normal matches he doesnt stand out to much. He is about average in the ring. He was also okay on the mic. He had a lot of charisma and he was one of the heaviest superstars of all time at 400 pounds. I wasnt a huge fan of his gimmicks but he always did entertain with the hardcore title.

7108.11.2013Fvchs425.0Schwer zu bewerten.. Einerseits in meinen Augen ein echt guter Entertainer. Fand ihn eigentlich immer lustig.
