[6.0] "You've gotta spend way more time than his few minutes in the TNA gauntlet or the Phantasio match to get a full grasp of what Spellbinder was capable of. He was absolutely in every way a product of 90s wrestling. He couldn't have ever possibly come to be in any other era than the one in which he was birthed. He was perfectly suited for what 90s Memphis wrestling could've become if, y'know, all those other promotions hadn't gotten in the way."

He did nothing of interest on that match and then never came back to the company, so there's not much to say about him. But it was really strange to have him look like Scott Steiner."

[4.0] "A mainstay of the Memphis scene through the '90s and early 2000s, Harry Del Rios seemed to have a lot going for him - good size, a decent physique, solid in-ring work, impressive power and deceptive agility (including a somersault legdrop), and a decent hook in his sleight-of-hand skill that he was able to develop into his Spellbinder character. Despite winning a number of titles in Memphis, including two runs with the USWA Heavyweight Title, for whatever reason he was never able to break through at the higher levels, though - he became most infamous for his run with the WWF in 1995 as Phantasio, an even more cartoonish version of Spellbinder, that lasted for just a single televised appearance before both the gimmick and Del Rios himself were dropped (or maybe it was all a disappearing act? ) He had a smattering of further dark matches for the WWF through the early 2000s as well as an appearance in a battle royal on NWA:TNA's first weekly PPV (in which he inexplicably tried to duplicate Scott Steiner's "Big Poppa Pump" look), but none of those came to anything, and he wound his career down in Memphis in the mid-2000s (though he did resurrect Phantasio for a one-off appearance in PWS in 2012)."
