[9.0] "An incredible star. For so many years, he was just an ordinary tag-team guy or a low-level midcarder. Eventually, everything changed; by 2024, fans were clamoring for him to win the IC title--a victory that promised to be a massive achievement and a beautiful story of finally reaching the goal. Unfortunately, he didn't win the match, sparking a huge outcry. The real breakthrough came with his new persona: El Grande Americano. It was a story filled with big moments, plot twists, and fascinating in-ring action. The Mask vs. Mask match was incredible--both the bout itself and the narrative behind it. After that, there was no other option but to give Chad the title. He won the championship at SummerSlam by defeating Penta, finally realizing his long-awaited dream and bringing his story to a perfect conclusion. It is a beautiful example of patiently waiting for your moment throughout an entire career."

[9.0] "Chad Gable is an extra ordinary wrestler. He has the in ring skills, promo skills, he has insane charisma, gets over easily with the crowd, can act his way out of anything, can sell insanely, this guy is totally the full package. What inpressed me with most was his consistency and resilience throughout the years, he has never failed to impress people and he continues doing so. His in the last few years was totally unbelievable. From 2024 when everyone was rooting for him to win the Intercontinental championship, starting that faction, then in 2025 going to lucha Libre and learning their style of wrestling and honoring the culture, grinding and grinding non stop until this year when he finally completes his story and wins the Intercontinental championship. Love him or hate it, everyone knows this guy's worth, he is worth it. His title win was a love story to professional wrestling, I hope he holds it for a long time and has a very good reign, stacked with defenses as it has been so far. My expectations from Cjad is very hight but I have no doubts that he will surpass all of them. He definitely has a very long and prosperous career in front of him, I will continue watching him, rooting for him and watch him grow and learn every corners of this business."

His rise to great status lately was boosted off the amazing El Grande Americano match and his win over Penta at SummerSlam for the IC Title. Gable is a really solid wrestler and has substantial potential to put together a legendary career."
SwantoPunks wrote on 20.08.2026:
[10.0] "For a guy who spent years being treated like shit Gable has developed surprisingly strong character work. El Grande Americano showed that he can absolutely commit to a ridiculous gimmick and make it entertaining. Even critics who disliked parts of the story acknowledged his ability as a performer, in ring no comments for that he's truly kurt angle's son one of the best in ring wrestler in the world , in mic skills he's improved still not the best but its good for a guy like him"
Randy 0rt0n wrote on 20.08.2026:
[10.0] "We always knew Chad Gable had infinite potential. The American Alpha tag team was great but maybe a bit short lived. His single career has been looking for a direction. But I don't know why. After Summerslam I think it is clear to everyone that he can be the next big thing if he is given a chance. Athletic performers like Chad could be olympic gold metal winners and deserve a push."
BipePomb369 wrote on 08.08.2026:
[10.0] "I love Chad Gable. Have since American Alpha. Man should've been Kurt Angle's lost son. And while I would love to say that I wish they pushed him to the moon years ago, I think his rise was sweetened even further by the fact that so many amazing workers like him who have gotten themselves pidgeonholed at some point (example in point Shorty G) never make it back to being taken seriously. Chad deserves the IC title, but I do hope he gets a shot at the big one someday. He would be an amazing heel or babyface champ. 10/10"
Chonky Chicken 69 wrote on 07.08.2026:
[10.0] "Seriously should have had an intercontinental or US belt all the way back when he was dondering around in the tag team scene, should have been world champion when he was Shorty G, & I'm not even kidding. Comparisons are drawn to Angle for a reason. Whether he's fighting from underneath, gaining an advantage, strictly on top or strictly on bottom, he knows how to evoke intense emotions through the artform on an elite level. Was given the awful kids-stuff Americano crap and finally managed to break through & get his big moment, & the Mug root beer dog will never take that away from him. Long may he reign."

He's very reminiscent of Kurt Angle in the way that he moves and wrestles. He's insanely good in ring and is also good on the mic. It's ridiculous that Jey Uso and Jinder Mahal became world champions before Gable, but sadly that's the state of WWE."
Jonny Dubya wrote on 25.06.2026:
[8.0] "Chad Gable is a strong contender for a future singles champion in WWE. His most recent work as El Grande Americano was a career revitalization for him. He was a guy stuck in neutral, with nothing to show for it. And he made the El Grande Americano gimmick work. It was originally supposed to be a spoof character, but because of the fanfare it got, WWE threw it against the wall, and it stuck. But anyways, Gable is ready for a singles title. And he's long overdue."
Yoyo1239048291 wrote on 16.06.2026:
"10/10. El Grande Americano was originally created to be a joke. Chad Gable who was shockingly revealed to be the Original El Grande Americano and this new El Grande Americano have both been fantastic in this role that they honestly should not have been. Original El Grande Americano had became a despised villain in America and especially Mexico. He was one of AAA's biggest superstars. He did his part well and had a fantastic match against Nuevo El Grande Americano. It is insane how talented he is and also insane how he made this storyline and character work."

He's smooth in the ring, has great intensity, can be technical with his submissions (Ankle lock) or even a high flyer (Diving Headbutt and Diving Moonsault). The guy has it all but has been utilized so poorly. One of my Favorites"
TripleCrown wrote on 23.04.2026:
[8.0] "Chad Gable is a great talent who's phenomenal in-ring. He had been severely misused in WWE for quite a while unfortunately. He started off quite strong with Jason Jordan, but the tag division in WWE was pretty eh so there was a ceiling for them and they both had more potential going solo. After the split, Gable just floated... everybody knew he could go in-ring, but man WWE just didn't know what to do with him. I feel like, he started to find his footing as a singles wrestler in 2024 but then got donned the El Grande Americano mask and it kind of just halted everything for him. Don't get me wrong, he's good still... but I think he was really on a roll, then he got the new gimmick and injury, since that point he's just floating again. WWE really need to do something with him because he 100% can be a main event player. He has all the tools, but the powers that be just never really went all in with him."
[9.0] "Chad Gable is a fucking beast. With the correct booking he can easily become the modern day Kurt Angle since he was the in ring ability to do it. His matches with Gunther and Vikingo are out of this world levels of good."

[10.0] "One of the greatest examples of misused talent and I don't understand why. First things first, he is a master of technical wrestling and had absolute bangers in the last three years, that alone makes him a contender for any title in the company, but the problem is that WWE likes to put this guy in horrible gimmicks and when people complains about it, they will give him a very good feud, he will lose and then put in a worse position. Give this guy a 9 month reign with the IC champion and then you will see why you should've pushed in all these years ago."

The El Grande Americano gimmick is holding him down in my opinion and he is mainly used to put other stars over right now but I think if they gave him a proper U.S or Intercontinental title reign he could really reach his full potential"

With an amateur wrestling background and crisp in-ring style, he brings intensity, speed, and precision to every match. Whether in tag teams or singles action, Gable makes everything look sharp and real. His recent work as El Grande and leading the academy has added so much depth to his character. He's finally getting the recognition he's long deserved and keeps proving he belongs at the top. His match at Worlds Collide was arguably MOTY"

The explosion & athleticism he can tap into all while being as crisp / safe as it gets in the ring is unmatched. Chad can give you more in 90 seconds than most can in 15 minutes. his character work is underrated as well & I personally was/is really enjoying the Grande Americano bit. Get healthy soon Chad"

He can make the stupidest, silliest gimmicks work so well and somehow isn't a top star in WWE right now. He's one of the best workers in wrestling right now and is hugely underrated."
Loe Jist wrote on 07.06.2025:
[10.0] "Chad Gable is absolutely the best in-ring technician in WWE today. Gable is an unbelievable wrestler and horribly underrated. He's a former Olympian. He can do terrific character work and has never grown stagnant. He can do serious and comedic roles well. He takes whatever is given and makes it his own. Because of WWE's superficial and antiquated ideas about what a champion should be, I truly believe that he has been held back because he doesn't "look the part" in their eyes. If he was 6ft+ and not stuck with so many silly gimmicks over the years, he'd be a multiple time world champion by now."
notanothersmark wrote on 05.06.2025:
[8.0] "The whole El Grande Americano is such a double-edged sword. Anyone who's been watching Gable's work long enough knows how good of a character worker he is and how great he is in ring, but of course, it only took a dumb gimmick with a mask for WWE to finally push him. It's awesome seeing him finally get big-time wins at Wrestlemania and against the likes of CM Punk, but I just wish it was the normal Chad Gable character."
nmct wrote on 04.06.2025:
[10.0] "I know the El Grande Americano gimmick gets a lot of online hate. It's a stupid gimmick but that's also the point of it. If anything the gimmick is only showcasing how great and versatile Chad Gable is in-ring and character wise. Don't think he'll ever be a top top guy for WWE but he's doing extremely well for a upper-mid tier guy. One of the best in the company and should be used as a "bigger" star."

At times I feel frustrated that the WWE are not utilising him to his full extent I hope this will change. I am enjoying his El Grande Americano run at the minute a fun gimmick which is giving him opportunities to wrestle a fun new style."

I don't even mind the Alpha Academy stuff but make it more serious please. Nobody who runs around shuuushing people is going to win a title. 4.5.2025 : Knocking rating down to an 8 because of lack of use from WWE"

I've seen enough of his matches to know that he's very good in the ring but this El Grande Americano gimmick is absolutely hilarious and makes him even more entertaining. I want to see him lose to the real luchadores though but he is incredibly talented in the ring as a technician. To the guy below me Chad Gable is El Grande Americano... all gimmicks redirect to the main profiles."

Excellent in ring skills and move set, able to function as a funny heel and an underdog babyface, produce enjoyable segments when only given little time on screen. I do hope WWE would give him a singles title run at some point of his career with American Made, because he absolutely deserves one."

He can sell like a champ, his mic skills and general heel persona are awesome, and his technical wrestling skills are evident in every match he puts on. I wish Chad Gable became one and only Chad Gable, not second Kurt Angle people as well as I are used to believing"

American Alpha is one of the best tag teams of the 2010's even with only a short time. His stuff with Benjamin and Roode were some of the highlights during a very bad time on the main roster. Somehow he made Shorty G work when Vince was out to humiliate him. He managed to make it past being a comedy jobber, to a legitimate contender for the Tag Team and Intercontinental gold. He is a guy who should have been a singles champion by now. He should be a singles champion in the first half of 2025 or it will be a major fumble."
