She also brought in extra money and merch sales. On the other hand she was sort of a security blanket and made Randy look like Linus from the Charlie Brown comic strip. In terms of the politics of the business she was an obvious vulnerability and a liability for Randy. She never learned how to work or do promos without a script. Her early work in the then WWF was better than what she did in WCW. Her early death makes her a tragic figure of sorts. Sure Randy would've had a great career without her but she would've stayed working as the receptionist at the gym. Maybe that would've been better for both of them."

In "Macho Man" Randy Savage's early career she was there to be abused to get heat on him, in his later career she was there to be abused by others so he could defend her. She was very good at visually emoting, showing fear, concern, joy, sadness; however, whenever she was required to actually open her mouth she was wooden and totally unconvincing, even when speaking just a couple of words. If wrestling was a silent film she would've been one of the best managers of all time, but she needed to speak occasionally and it took away greatly from her authenticity."

She played her character perfectly and she always enhance the feuds she was a part of. Darkside of the ring and other interviews showed the issues she went with backstage and told her tragic ending to her life."

[8.0] "Miss Elizabeth had a unique role in that its strengths were in her vulnerability, her class, and her elegance. If you think she didn't add anything to Randy Savage's career, you must have been watching a different Randy Savage. Their run in WWF was the first romance angle and there will never be another romance angle as thoroughly flushed out and as powerful. The crowd would go crazy when he would mistreat Liz, and she had a very unique presence that no woman since in wrestling has had. If she had been getting involved in matches, that wouldnt have made any sense and wouldve made the crowd feel less empathy for her. Then she would show heroism like when she ran in front of Randy when Honky Toni man was gonna hit him with the guitar, or when she got help when Macho was getting hit by Jakes snake. Also she was great at making moments like The Undertaker and Jake the Snake feuds more dramatic and intense because you didnt want poor lil ole Miss Elizabeth to get hurt while her husband is dragging her around by the arm. It was a brilliant dynamic that would get flipped in WCW for shock value- it was good for that but I kind of hated what WCW did to her character. R.I.P. classy lady"

Years later, we find out that wasn't entirely kayfabe in their relationship. She made her place in wrestling history but in the grand scheme of things, she never should have gotten involved in the business. Another tragic end."

[7.0] "The First Lady Of Wrestling was an adored figure of the 1980s, the greatest valet ever in the industry. Her sweet and fragile demeanor contrasting to the outlandish, wild and loud Randy Savage made for one of the best pairings ever on screen. Whether enhancing Savages heel persona, or helping to make one of the most iconic face turns of all-time with him, as well taking part in other memorable moments and storylines such as their wedding which main evented SummerSlam 1991. Think about that. SummerSlam 1991 ended with a wedding. Thats how invested people were in these two. If you have to put a manager/valet into the WWE Hall of Fame, Miss Elizabeth is a no-brainer for what she has accomplished. Its a shame that she may never get in in our lifetime."

Still though, when she came out of the audience at Wrestlemania 7 and threw Sensational Sherri off of Randy Savage, we all lost our minds. I know I lost my mind, I'm not gonna come on here on cagematch and act like that wasn't an incredible moment in life. And then the "match made in heaven", good grief that would enchant and ensnare anyone. Something about her was able to tap in deep now n then."

Moomoomiltank wrote on 12.10.2021:

She was only in the business because she was sleeping with macho man. She did pretty much nothing except being a mediocre valet at best, and when Jake the snake ruined her wedding."

[2.0] "No doubt, she was probably the first hugely popular woman valet and it was pretty revolutionary for the fans to see a woman valet in wwe at the time. She was involved with pretty big wrestlers like hogan and savage so it was obvious that she was going to get over. However she couldn't talk and couldn't act, all she ever did was to be there and look pretty which is just not enough. She couldn't act because she always laughing in situations where she should've been serious, she couldn't even keep a straight face. It was pretty cringy to watch tbh. I honestly don't think she deserves her spot in the business simply because she wasn't good at performing and being a manager."

Some of the angles she was in in WWF earlier were pretty good, and she wasn't awful with Macho Man in WCW. I guess maybe I'm just not a fan of valets in general?"

She had no presence (or confidence), she didn't know how to act, she couldn't cut a promo and she didn't bring anything interesting to a match."

She started that Diva image but not the porn star look. That did not happened until Sunny, Sable and Marlena were in the WWF. Elizabeth stint in WCW was decent. Sad that she died so young. RIP Elizabeth!"

The Mega Powers & Macho retiring are two of the best angles ever & she was a big player in both. She was a pioneer in that she helped WWE realize what a female who fans had an attachment to could do for the company."
