[4.0] "I think an adequate rating is fair for the powerhouse Warlord. He was a good power wrestler of the time. I didn't view him as flashy at all, but I thought his time tagging with The Barbarian was some of his best time in the ring."

[5.0] "My Rating 5.4 The first time I heard of Warlord was on WWE Royal Rumble records video package. I watched the clip times and times again and loved it! I had the opportunity to meet him once on an autograph signing in Nashville. When you meet him in person you'll see how huge he is! Warlord might be the biggest man I've ever met."

[9.0] "Monstrous powerhouse heel with extreme longlevity, aura and tough reputation. One of my favourites during Gold Era."

[4.0] "Was he any good in the ring? No. Could he promo? Also no. Did he have natural in ring charisma to over come those not inconsiderable shortcomings in a pro wrestler? Lord no. Did he take so many steroids his piss was considered a WMD by the UN? Yes. Seven year old me thought he looked cool as fuck though. Still kind of do."

[5.0] "The Warlord's longevity is extremely impressive. He had a good look and could wrestle good as a member of a tag team match. Wasn't quite as good solo as the Barbarian. Was best with a manager."

[5.0] "Had a great look and entrance, but never really stood out among the many other gimmick wrestlers of his day with his in ring performances. Couldn't move or talk as well as his tag team partner Barbarian. Pretty much all of his best matches are squash matches in his favour."

[5.0] "*sigh* I really wanted to like him. He was introduced to very young me with the music of KISS: War Machine backing him. So, right away we have a child ensnared and wanting this guy to be THE MAN! He couldn't do much at all though. He was super great at a coupla things: #1 holding a foe in a front facelock, looking to his manager & air for approval and then clubbing the guy's back. #2 And. Uhm. Working out/eating/doing roids, like ALOT... Good stuff with The Rockers and Powers of Pain will always be fun, but all of us are more into The Barbarian and the Rockers can make stale toast an acceptable dinner."
Giantfan1980 wrote on 09.04.2023:
[4.0] "The less talented of the Powers Of Pain. He was less agile than Barbarian (probably because of the roids) and he was lousy on the mic. Looked better when he had a baby face bouncing off him that he could squash in quick succession. Had the look, but everything else was lacking."

[4.0] "During an era when there were many big men who were not that great in the ring, Warlord exemplifies both of those tropes. Looked the part, but not much more can be said beyond that."
Brett1980 wrote on 25.01.2021:

JEK 1991 wrote on 14.08.2020:
[7.0] "Good wrestler. His moves were decent in the ring. Not as good as Barbarian. Had the strong physique and had some great moves. He was not excellent. I could never see him main event."

RatingsMachine wrote on 12.10.2018:
[2.0] "The guy worked hard on his physique; Warlord clearly knew where to get the best steroids and how to make the most of them. I'd rate him lower, but the guy, at least in his Power of Pain days, was capable of not tripping over his feet."
DanTalksRasslin wrote on 08.06.2015:
[6.0] "A powerhouse with an incredible physique, Warlord also had a very good grasp on what he was doing in the ring in terms of stringing moves together and utilizing holds as well as brute strength. His best success in the WWF came as part of the Powers of Pain with the Barbarian; as a single, he never found a sustained push though he did have some featured matches with strong performances (such as against British Bulldog at 'This Tuesday in Texas'). To this day he still occasionally pops up as a special attraction on the indy scene."
