2315.10.2021ElPolloLoco8.0He's basically like Kevin Nash... if Kevin Nash could have really gone in the ring at any point of his career. At his top he was really really good, but he's a backstage politician of first class. Yeah, plotting backstage is more or less necessary to survive in CMLL but these days, since he cannot really go as well as he could, he seems to engage in it with even more enthusiasm than he used in the past.
2411.09.2021MatZeClown8.0Undoubtedly an all-time great worker, still going strong in the ring in 2021. That said, did he or one of his associates write that review where the Alvarados were mentioned? In the post-pandemic era, his trainees have not really impressed, with Dark Magic being the most glaring example of someone who is just not made for Lucha Libre (and he still gets booked despite being out of position for spots...) Mexican fans know him as a cancer when it comes to his backstage role, but in the ring...he's still delivering the goods. However, it seems like he'll have to give up the spotlight soon before he gets go-away heat.

4019.06.2016Luv all wrestling8.0This man was/still is a draw in cmll, simple as that. His matches have a neat spectacle atmosphere about them and has a great connection with the arena mexico fans. Only complaint is that he is booked so strong he makes all the young people he beat look weak and the young wrestlers that beat him make it look like they winning was a fluke
4127.01.2016SlothFacts5.0I'll have to preface this one by saying that I've seen only the tail end of his career, but what I have seen has been extremely difficult to watch. This is not a wrestler who seems to have any grasp of ring psychology. There's no flow, there's no momentum. The action is stopped every few minutes so that he can point to the crowd and raise the roof, then allow his opponent to make their own appeals to the crowd. It becomes impossible to watch. The moment you start getting suckered into the action, the match stops to turn into a posedown. I don't watch wrestling to see a shirtless forty-four year old man raise the roof. I understand that this is, to a small extent, just the style some luchadores work. But it's one that makes me beg and plead for the match to just end.
