Never known for Lou Thesz-level wrestling skills, Ox skipped the workrate routine and focused on infuriating fans to magma-hot heat. His heart punch finisher was fantastic and he parlayed his non-traditionally handsome look into film and TV roles (including an iconic appearance on "The Price is Right." Ox was the type of wrestler who epitomized the territory era of the 60s and 70s, big bad and dangerous to know."

Had a unique iconic look with the bushy eyebrows and large mustache he looked evil so fit his character well . [10.0] "How could a legend the likes of Ox Baker receive such low votes? Baker was one of the first truly psychotic, evil heels in the business, and to this day his cynicism still goes unmatched. Ox Baker wasn't a great technical wrestler, though as a brawler/powerhouse, this guy could have been one of the all-time best. His mic work was incredible, and he certainly had a draw; during his long run in Australia, many people would purchase their ticket or tune into World Championship Wrestling just to see the bad guy lose. This is a perfect example of uneducated and/or misinformed fans."
