It helped that she chose easy-to-use, but cool-to-see moves, like fancy kicks, spinebusters, and facebusters. Her selling was a notable weakpoint, at least in body movement, as her facial acting was stellar. Her packaging, attire, entrance theme(s) always made her feel like a big deal, but she just didn't improve at the pace expected, and honestly it was of no fault of her own, she was clearly getting better and better. I'd love to see more of her in the ring. And yeah, her AEW run was dumb fun as well. |

Focused on comedic moments, she acts as a kind of girl with no prospects, a girl to laugh at, and it works. I liked her line with Jax last year, as well as the moment with her win in battle royal, where even such a thing was done without violating the conventions of her character. In fact, watching Raw, I can note that the ability to spin within your own framework and always act logically is an underrated talent, and there aren't many people who do better. I would put Orton, Bliss, Fiend, Asuka, and AJ Styles among them. Perhaps Sheamus would have been added here, as a truly worthy employee, but I refuse to take the rewriting of history in any way for the sake of praising McIntyre, whom Sheamus supposedly envied all his career. Lana is good at her own pace and doesn't try to take a swing at more. When her story ended and Charlotte took her place - it got worse, despite the fact that almost every user will say that Flair is definitely better as a wrestler. But her matches are simply destroyed by the ratings. Everyone admits that this is very bad. But Charlotte continues to get high marks, because it is good by default. While Lana is humiliated because she is just in her place. Such characters are important and she really is one of the few who doesn't annoy and force you to change the channel. She is a conscientious employee and I am sorry that she is treated like this. |

I do respect that shes been working hard to improve herself as a wrestler, but she only thrives due to Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunns looks-based vision for womens wrestling. |

Lana was pretty funny with Rusev as a "Boris and Natasha" type and in general she's a decent talker and manager who could have helped good midcarders with problems on the microphone to get over a bit, asinine booking aside. Granted, she's not Jimmy Hart, but a manager goes a long way towards masking that new great in-ring talent has as much charisma as a sock or that a big threatening mountain of muscles sounds incredibly shy when talking. In the modern WWE pretty much everybody is expected to wrestle, so Lana had to wrestle, and to be fair she seems to have really put her back into it but, alas, she's truly a terrible in-ring performer. |
