124.10.2023jomshom9.0Ni Hao/MAX Miyazawa is really one of those guys that should've done so much more in wrestling. Brought up in the CAPTURE pit and forced to fight for his life from day one, Ni Hao was a super compelling shoot style guy, blending some stiff striking and smooth grappling with a scrappy underdog demeanor and deceptively good selling. The last two qualities were especially important for the few CAPTURE matches we have of his, as the crowd were always firmly behind Ni Hao, and he knew exactly how to play into that, going from being utterly victimized to rattling off combos and getting the crowd fired up. Finding footage of Ni Hao's work has always been really difficult, but everything I've found so far has made him look like one of those guys that really deserved the world. Absolute shame that he never got an extended run in Battlarts or Fu-ten, as he would've been tremendous there during his prime.
