Not very good in-ring, doesn't really have any charisma, he just so happens to be a big guy who has a legendary father. At least he tried, but it's a clear 2 for me. Just no improvement throughout his years as a professional wrestler, the neck injury is unfortunate though. |

| 13 | 19.06.2022 | Ma Stump Puller | 4.0 | It's unfortunate how his career went down: working alongside the natural advantages of being a tall, young dude, he had the obvious connections and circle to work around into wherever he wanted to go, which arguably gave him probably one of the easiest rides in wrestling to speak of. This is pretty much what did him in as the guy had no humility; instead of working the odd jobs and paying his dues, he instead got to coast off everything he had and got brought into Bullet Club when they were white-hot under AJ Styles: the last time the group felt like a threat. Cody was green, but he had the greatest baseline to work off alongside a world class dojo and wrestlers. Somehow threw this all away with his bad wrestling and (allegedly) bad attitude alongside a bad neck injury sidelined his progress, but he kept getting second chances in other promotions, with the same happening: got pushes, got booted. NOAH, DDT, even MLW, the land of the misfits didn't want this guy, which says a lot by itself. Main issues are that he's just not very good: fine as a powerhouse, maybe would've been something 20 or 30 years ago. Now? People don't care about the really tall dudes who just stand there. No charisma or the sense of intelligence that came with his father's matches: everything seems generic and by the numbers. Scott Hall wasn't much better workrate wise, but he knew how to work and make simple things count massively, even if people didn't quite pick up on them. He has nothing original to give beyond being the son of a legendary wrestler: a rep that's both a gift and a curse as many will testify. Given he still has ideas of wrestling and seems to have become at least surface-level humble by recent interviews, I'm not going to count him out yet, because there's obvious potential. Either or not that gets realised is up to a lot of different factors. |

Edit 04. 01. 2020. Inzwischen einiges von Cody gesehen. Gerade in Deutschland und generell in Europa ein gern gesehener Gast. Er geht seinen Weg und er kopiert nicht seinen Vater sondern macht sein eigens Gimmick. |

The only role I see for him is to serve as hired muscle in a faction or as the big guy in multi-men tag matches. That's fine, we need them as well. |

Er strahlt äußerlich eine gewisse Coolness aus und hatte auch ein paar ordentliche Moves gezeigt. Er scheint fûr seine größe relativ athletisch zu sein... EDIT: Er ist durchaus solide, aber er wäre ohne seinen Namen vermutlich nicht in diese Position im Bullet Club/ bei New Japan. Er hat eine gewisse ausstrahlung und ist Okay im Ring, aber er wird nie (zumindest bei New Japan) ein Main Player sein, da einfach viele viel Besser als er sind. |

Er hat das große Glück bei New Japan trainieren zu dürfen, also denke Ich das er in ein paar Jahren sicherlich sich gut entwickeln wird. Und zu erwähnen das er der Vater von Scott Hall ist ist sicherlich nicht verkehrt, aber er hat es nicht nötig eine billige Kopie von Razor zu sein. |

Von der Konstellation ausgehend könnte sich Hall fantastisch entwickeln und ich bin dementsprechend gespannt darauf, wie er sich im Laufe dieses Jahres macht. |
