[9.0] "One of the greatest talkers in the entire history of the sport/business. Awesome tag team wrestler, one of the B E S T at that. He was a pure heel who took his time to lay things in & made it look like it hurt. Fairly slow moving but had an explosiveness to him & could toss out a decent dropkick! Some of his other moves were cool as well: he really worked a headlock takedown and had a judo roll type throw that was neat, in general an interesting in ring worker. He did well as a manager in WCW (most notably for Paul Orndorff/Pretty Wonderful) and feel he could and should have been used more in that role. Circling back to the mic work once again - flawless and THE measuring bar for a very long stretch of time. And now the bad news: Too much stuff with Paul Jones & Jimmy "Boogie woogie" Valiant, this is an automatic fast forward. 8.75"

"An incredible promo, I'm honestly really surprised to see Hamilton getting so little love on here. Even as The Flame in Continental Hamilton was a lot of fun to watch. His feud with Bullet Bob Armstrong was particularly memorable. If you haven't seen much of his work you owe it to yourself to at least check out some Assassin/Flame promos on Youtube"
