[9.0] "One of my favorite retro guys to watch, he was WAY ahead of his time in terms of being an athletic big man wrestler. Shame his career started petering out right as wrestling blew up in the 80's, or he'd be much more fondly remembered than he is."

[4.0] "Only caught the last few years of his career and he was like a lot of old timers. Lost a lot of steam and his look wasn't exactly what I would consider "world beater". Kinda looked like a generic masked wrestler jobber who was allowed to show off more offensively."

[7.0] "I haven't seen much of The Spoiler and what I did see was near the end of his career. Around 86 or so he became so slow, it was like watching a match in slo-mo, and it was very awkward (still is). Before this though, he was quite the in ring competitor! Often using the ropes to his advantage and becoming a real ground breaker and innovator in that regard. He was actually the model for what Mark Calloway would become as a professional wrestler. Your fabled Undertaker looked to THIS MAN as the ideal wrestler, Calloway would then make it his own and bring it into the 90's and even a whole new century... If I watched more "peak" The Spoiler, I am sure my rating will increase. Avoid his mid to late 80's material though, it's a bit pitiful."

[7.0] "Successful in many territories. This man at 6"4 could jump off a turnbuckle which is impressive cause not many wrestler at his height could do that. Well known in Florida, Georgia and Texas."
