He's held a multitude of championships, particularly as part of the popular Polo Promotions tag team with Mark Coffey (of WWE NXT today). The most notable of their tag team accomplishments was their record setting 413 day reign as the ICW Tag Team Champions (644 days total across their four reigns). As ICW Tag Team Champions they battled many top UK teams as well as internationally known names like Drew Galloway, Team 3D, Tommy End, London & Kendrick, Colt Cabana and others. As the self-proclaimed "King of Chat" and "Scotland's best wrestler" Polo was also successful as a singles wrestler with his biggest accomplishments being two reigns as the ICW World Heavyweight Champion which culminated at ICW's marquee "Fear & Loathing" events. His first title loss took place in front of 2, 000 fans. His promotions are sensational, he can be funny, nasty or heroic but he's always credible. His wrestling style is not overtly flashy but it's believable and he sucks you in to the point that you can believe he'd put away a Hall of Famer with scoop slam and win his first World title with a headlock. I'm unsure why Polo found the majority of his success in ICW and Scotland Vs. Progress, RPW, WCPW, PCW, OTT, etc, but in just one Scottish indie he's left a huge legacy. Delighted he's back. |
