After having a great 2022, Ricky Knight Jr. continues his hot streak this year by challenging former WWE superstar Big Damo fka Killian Dain for the PROGRESS Atlas Championship. In a real test against a bigger opponent RKJ showed that he got the mental ability and the strength to beat such a well known opponent like "The Beast Of Belfast". It was at the famous Electric Ballroom in the heart of London where RKJ grabbed another opportunity to win a title of a big domestic promotion. "RKJ" is definitely one of the brightest young talents in professional wrestling today. The 22 year old from Norwich made a name for himself in smaller english promotions until he found his first big success in Southside Wrestling Entertainment, where he became the Speed King Champion and even won the Southside Heavyweight Championship before retiring the title to crown himself as the British Heavyweight Champion. With that achievement Ricky Knight Jr. started one of the most interesting feuds in wrestling against Will Ospreay. The "Commonwealth Kingpin" defeated Knight Jr. on two occassions in 2020 and 2021, but finally a year later RKJ dethroned Ospreay after a 919 days long reign as the RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion, his biggest career achievement yet.
