"Best looking gear in the game; reliable worker who does it all, tag matches, mixed matches, but its believable when he's holding a belt. Presents like a bruiser but is actually a high flyer, I think he's the perfect representation of the best of CMLL."

[7.0] "One of the best looking masks in Lucha currently, but unfortunately a very unmemorable performer otherwise. Have yet to be blown away by him in any match despite having seen quite a few. Edit: Revised up from 5 to 7 after warming up to him a bit. He played his part very well in the 91 Anniversario mask match and I had a good time seeing him as a live performer."

Esfinge doesn't have a particularly remarkable style among CMLL roster, whether talking about high-flying or technical stuff, but he is a serviceable worker, who can perfectly be involved in low to middle card matches constantly and will always work well with the talents involved. Also, he currently has one of the best looking masks from any mexican promotion, which makes him stand out as a character himself."
