His most memorable run came alongside Rusev, where his operatic "Rusev Day" introductions unexpectedly caught fire with fans. That organic popularity showcased his charisma and timing, turning what started as comic relief into one of the most over acts of that period. Unfortunately, WWE failed to capitalize on the momentum, and Rehwoldt was shuffled back into irrelevance despite clear fan support. Since leaving WWE, he has transitioned into commentary and appearances in Impact Wrestling, proving himself as a strong voice and knowledgeable presence behind the mic. He may never have reached the heights of a top-tier performer, but Rehwoldt has shown versatility, creativity, and a deep appreciation for wrestling as performance art.
