[8.0] "Some of the cultural commentary on ikemen is a bit lost on me as an American, but nonetheless Kuroshio is definitely someone I don't even go out of my to skip a match for and he's willing to make himself look like quite the buffoon, which I appreciate for someone of his talent."
[7.0] "A real funny and charismatic wrestler who has a good look, good moveset, and is GREAT at getting the crowd behind him during matches, Kuroshio has really found his stride in returning to DDT. His time in NXT was uneventful, as he was lost in the fold during the NXT 2.0 Days and being paired with Kushida really did him no favors. But now he is thriving and having some great and fun times in the Japanese landscape of wrestling."
[10.0] "I find Ikemen Jiro/ Kuroshio TOKYO Japan extremely funny and talented in the ring honestly wish the WWE didn't release him, he has so much potential. I gave him a 10 since he has great matches and has some cool promos or little skits that are quite funny. I look forward to see more of his work in AJPW and DDT."
[2.0] "Inadequate is a good description of Kuroshio TOKYO Japan. I don't enjoy comedy wrestling, so getting through his matches always feels like a chore. I want to watch all of the Champion Carnival matches, and his involvement is a major negative. A lot of meaningless comedy spots, slow slow slow matches"
[8.0] "He's a great in-ring worker and really charismatic in the ring, it's hard to take your eyes off of him. He can be a bit obnoxious at times, but I think that's the point. I can legitimately see this guy as a top star, and when you have a top star that's actually entertaining, you have magic on your hands."
[7.0] "A great Wrestler with a lot of potential, he has quite good movements and his execution is quite good, in addition to his innate charisma that few have, but he still needs to improve so that he can ascend."

Jiro has captivated me beyond words, this beautiful being exudes jovial vehemence, he is a wholesome dome of love and power and he is incapable of not being the center of every morsel of attention available in his vicinity. I chant "Ikemen! " in my sleep. I have yet to take off my jacket and It's been 14 minutes since I got home. Some people would say that Jiro isn't talented, those same people have a to-scale cardboard cutout of Alex Ace displayed in their living room."

[9.0] "Everyone, seriously, look at that jacket. In all seriousness though, Jiro "Ikemen" Kuroshio has skyrocketed up to being one of my favorite wrestlers in Japan. Kuroshio has this knack to add a degree of levity to matches - big or small - without ever really invalidating their importance. It is that careful line being walked that makes him such a valuable player in Japanese wrestler. You can ultimately stick this guy anywhere and he will be a highlight of the card. I'd love to see Kuroshio work outside of Japan - he works a gimmick that can universally be understood, and is charismatic enough to win even the saltiest of wrestling fans over. And my god, that jacket is so good."
[8.0] "Ikemen, ikemen! Nicht nur das er einer der most handsome guys aus Japan ist, nein! Er ist der modischeste junge ProWrestler und Trendsetter. Er paart sein wirklich sympathisch ausgefülltes und authentisches Gimick mit gutem Wrestling. Athletisch, technisch und unterhaltsam, egal ob er der Underdog ist oder nicht, er liefert ab. Trotz aller Albernheiten mit Jacke und seine schönen Haaren, das Wrestling kommt nicht zu kurz, allein wie sicher er bei jeder Springboard Action noch Zeit hat seine Jacke zu richten. ^^ Der Typ ist over bei den Fans und wird geliebt, schon sein Entrance sorgt für Stimmung. Die Zuschauer bei WRESTLE-1 hatten schon viele Gründe Hideki Suzuki nicht zu mögen, aber in ihren Augen war das brutale Abreißen ud zerstören von Kurishios Jacke sein größtes Verbrechen. Und wer es in seinem Match gegen Keiji Muto schafft das die Leute ihn anfeuern und Muto ausbuhen, der ist verdammt gut und besonders."
