A shame if Tony doesnt use him in any sort of positive fashion while under contract at least for AEW. Was always a fantastic heel with a unique in ring offense to match his look. A shame more promotions like ROH didnt pick up on him sooner and that he never got more single pushes. Great in a team, faction, or single."
[5.0] "Silas Young, ein Wrestler der die alte Schule noch repräsentiert, vom Gimmick und vom Wrestling Stil. Das wirkt manchmal wie aus der Zeit gefallen, kann aber mit einem guten Gegenpart noch funktionieren. Seine Matches begeistern mich aber nicht so sehr und hängen oft vom Gegner ab, ob sie gut werden oder Silas sein übliches Programm zeigt, was sich aber schnell abnutzt und wirkt unter Umständen langweilig."
[6.0] "I used to think Sillas was a main event level talent, but he isn't, the lack of charisma and mic skills really hurts his character and exposed him. I hope he finds a partner who fit his character and get a solid run in the tag team division, because he can delieveres a hell of mid card match."

I don't know, I think he has a lack of in ring presence and psychology and just tries to fall back and rely on his gimmick too much. I can never see him being champion or anything, but I think he will always be a good mid-carder for ROH and a reliable veteran to put younger talent over."
[9.0] "Great in ring performer. Best gimmick in ROH. Really charismatic. I really like that man. Just watched his match against Bandido in Road To G1 Supercard. They stole the show, It was great just like his other matches."
[10.0] "Great performer and my favorite character in roh today. He has proven that he can hang with the best of them, and imo deserves a more promiment role on roh tv programming. His rivarly with Lethal from last year was probably the best that roh brought us in 2017, and hat says something about both guys."

"Last Real Man of Pro-Wrestling", dafür ist er mir zu langsam, zu unsauber, zu eintönig und einfach nicht gut genug in jedem Weg des Ring-Wrestlings. Er sieht schlicht aus, kaum Charisma und somit ist das Gimmick auch nicht wirklich gut. Für mich sind das insgesamt 3 Punkte."
[10.0] "The Last Real Man of Professional Wrestling is quickly becoming one of my favorite things about ROH. A high flyer turned throwback heel brawler, Silas has one of my favorite movesets and characters in wrestling today, and I hope we see him as ROH TV, or even World Champ soon."
[9.0] "One of last real heels remaining in independent wrestling scene. I really like how he portrays his "last real man" character by acting grumpy and angry to people who don't share same vision with him. He also equips his strong persona with incredible in ring abilities. Too bad ROH hasn't been giving him more opportunities to have a title run, but I think a talent as complete as Silas will have no difficulty to shine in other wrestling promotions."

Zwar macht er nicht mehr soviel High-Flying wir früher, hat sich aber mit seinem "Last Real Man"-Gimmick mehr aus nur gut im Indy-Bereich festgesetzt, da wird es sicher bald wieder mit Gürteln klappen! Ein Mann den man nicht einfach auf eine Rolle festsetzen kann!"
[7.0] "Young is absolutely fantastic in his heel role as "the Last Real Man. " As I wrote about him in a "ones to watch" article on my own wrestling blog at the beginning of 2014, his mustachioed machismo reminds me a bit of the legendary Rick Rude, but Young's character stands on its own - where Rude was sleazy and smug, Young is just mean and nasty. Great old-school bully character. He's also absolutely solid in the ring and has put on some entertaining matches, especially when his gimmick is able to contrast with the babyface's. Unfortunately an injury put him out of action for a good part of 2014, but now that he's returning to action he should quickly regain status as a major part of ROH's heel contingent."
[7.0] "Silas Young sticht bei Ring of Honor insbesondere durch seinen ganz eigenen Old-School Style hervor. Wo andere den x-ten Spot planlos ansetzen, überzeugt er durch hartes Brawling und lediglich ganz seltenen high risk Manövern. Ich sehe ihm gerne bei seiner harten Arbeit zu."
[10.0] "I have really become a big fan of Silas Young! Besides being a very awesome and very gifted innovative wrestler, I feel he is one of those guys who truly lives his character whenever he's on the screen. He looks and talks like he is really the last real man of professional wrestling. And quite honestly, who are we to argue that he is the last real man? Especially when his gifted promo skills and his awesome wrestling talent speaks for themselves and not only that but he without a doubt has a badass attitude about him and his character just like his uncle Stan Hansen did!"
[9.0] "Diesem Mann widerfährt gerade das Paul-Heyman-Syndrom: Beleidigt das Publikum, wird ausgebuht, steigt in den Ring, wird bechantet wie wenige andere, zumindest bei RoH. Das zeugt von seiner grandiosen Heel-Arbeit und fantastischen In-Ring-Skills, die dieser Kerl an den Tag legt. Der wird mal ganz groß, wenn man ihn nicht in die Heel-Comedy-Schiene drängt. Aber von RoH bin ich größtenteils nur gutes gewohnt, da kann man durchaus zuversichtlich sein, ihn mindestens einmal als TV-Champ zu sehen. Er ist für mich momentan mit Steen, Cole und ACH der größte dauerhaft präsente Entertainer im "Ring of Honor"-Seilgeviert. Ich tendiere fast zur 10, muss mich aber erst vergewissern, ob er auch mit den Alpha-Tieren mithalten kann. Das Charisma und die Skills dafür hat er definitiv."
[7.0] "Spent the majority of his career as a nobody with no personality, but since cutting his hair, growing a mustache, getting in shape, and developing his "Last Real Man" character, he has become one of ROH's best heels. I smell an ROH Television title run in his future."
[8.0] "Ein guter Mann, mit gutem moveset und genialem Finisher. Bei dem Onkel wundert es mich, dass er nicht einige Bookings in Japan hat, verdient hätte er es."
[7.0] "Ich mag ihn und das nicht nur wegen seinem tollem Theme. Wrestlerisch ist er sehr solide und hat definitiv Potential. So gut wie sein Onkel ist er zwar (noch) nicht, aber Talent hat er trotzdem."
[7.0] "Wegen diesem Mann (und Scrubs) weiß ich jetzt, von wem sein Theme Song ist. Großartiges Theme, super Auftritt, definitiv unterschätzter Worker. Würde mich sehr freuen, ihn Full Time in RoH zu sehen oder mal einen Ausflug nach Japan machen zu sehen. "
[6.0] "Ordentlicher Wrestler, der das ROH-Roster definitiv bereichert. Ob es zu größeren Erfolgen reicht, wird sich zeigen. Ich hätte nichts gegen Fehden mit Austin Aries, Delirious und co einzuwenden. Eigentlich wäre er auch ein guter Kandidat für The Age of the Fall. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber ich glaube, er ist doch schon etwas älter, als die anderen Talent (Jimmy Jacobs, Erick Stevens, Tyler Black etc. )"
