[7.0] "Skilled and well-liked veteran, perhaps best-known for launching Nick Aldis' famous run as NWA World Champion. Starting late in the sport meant that Storm was declining from his physical peak by the time he really "got it", but he worked hard to stay viable into his 50s. Eventually got so good at the old-school honorable babyface character that he could get fans to cheer just by mentioning his dear mother. Charming and self-effacing, but not really colourful enough for the colour commentary seat and no longer capable of regular ring work, it remains to be seen what more Storm can give to pro wrestling. He's almost archetypal as an old-fashioned babyface commissioner, but most promotions no longer use that role."
[8.0] "An overall good wrestler with some great background. He is a great performer. I have seen him at several house shows and he has always been great. His NWA championship run was well deserved."
[7.0] "I had never heard of Tim Storm before he became NWA Champion in 2016. Not sure where exactly he came from, but NWA was positioning him as a long term veteran in the business. Guess he slipped past me. Anyhow, in NWA he played the aging legend role well, even despite the fact that I was completely unfamiliar with his glory days when he would have been in his prime. He had no great gimmick, but he was a linchpin in NWA reforming under Billy Corgan. A very good sympathetic babyface."
[7.0] "It's hard to judge Storm considering how late he got into the business, but I'd say he's good, but nothing special. The only thing remarkable about him in particular is his actually impressive mic skills and solid babyface work. The guy is smart, and knows his limits in the ring as well as his strengths, and works on them a lot. He's a good storyteller and knows how to get a crowd behind him. His in ring work....... not so much. His age and relatively basic moveset really push him down for me. It sucks, because if he'd gotten into wrestling at a younger age, who knows how well he would have done? Likely better than what he is at the moment, that's for sure. Storm doesn't really fit a high level indie wrestler, but he can go in the right conditions."
[6.0] "I remember watching Tim Storm back in the days of PCW Full Throttle and I've just realised he won the NWA championship and made one hell of a change in his look. Tim started quite late and made his debut in his 30's, he has a good look, knows how to handle the mic and is quite decent in the ring. Overall he's not world champion material (not that the NWA belt means much nowadays), but Tim is definitely an enjoyable talent that knows how to work and if he would have started younger I'm sure he could have made it to the big time."
