1 | 14.09.2025 | Brutish Dandy | 8.0 | YOU-MANGA went full ham and honest-to-goodness got an antiquated Wild Samoan gimmick with a THUMB TO THE THROAT finisher over with the cynical fans of the late aughts. He was that good at being a bruiser heel. Gone too soon. Could imagine the bangers he'd put on in Lucha Underground or in NJPW during the Okada days. |

10 | 07.07.2025 | Scarletsound | 9.0 | After an almost hundred year long history of foreign monster heels Umaga managed to become one of the defining examples. Every match he shows up in he has an incredible menacing entrance before bulldozing all of the competition in delight. He was truly a joy to watch and I have no doubt he had more in store to come had he not been taken from us so early. |

14 | 11.06.2025 | Mark4Lyfe | 9.0 | Umaga was one of the most believable monster heels WWE ever had. His intensity, physical presence, and unique character work made him feel like a legitimate threat every time he stepped into the ring. Whether he was destroying opponents with the Samoan Spike or hitting that devastating running hip attack in the corner, his matches were always brutal and entertaining. He didn't need long promos--his body language and aggression did all the talking. It's a shame his run at the top was cut short, because he could've done even more. One of the most underrated big men of his era. |
15 | 05.06.2025 | bherbert1980 | 8.0 | Umaga was a force of nature in WWE, combining raw power, speed, and an intense physical presence that made him stand out instantly. Reintroduced to audiences in 2006 with a fierce Samoan savage gimmick, he quickly established himself as a dominant heel. Managed by Armando Estrada, Umaga tore through the roster with a blend of agility and brutality that defied expectations for a man his size. His feud with John Cena in early 2007, particularly their Last Man Standing match at Royal Rumble, was a career highlight and showcased how much he could elevate both himself and others in a main event spotlight. Despite being saddled with a character that could have easily been one-note, Umaga made it compelling through sheer commitment and in-ring excellence. Sadly, his career and life were cut far too short. Even so, his legacy endures as one of the most believable monsters WWE has ever produced, and many still see him as one of the best "big men" of his era. |
16 | 28.05.2025 | Ye11owGuy | 10.0 | If you bring up the greatest Samoan wrestlers that have stepped foot in WWE you have to mention Umaga. He was insane in the ring. Not a promo guy sure, but he had the look and the in ring ability. It's a shame he never got pushed to the big time. He was one of my favorite heels as a kid and he's one of my favorite heels now. He was absolutely amazing. He was gone way too soon. (Also manhandled Steve-O which was cool) |

33 | 20.12.2024 | TPG | 8.0 | RIP to Edward Fatu, such a great monster heel, and another one of the unsung heroes of the late 2000s. He doesn't look like much on the surface, but sort of like Calvin Tankman, he knows how to tell a story through his slow, menacing yet dominant appearance. And that Samoan Drop evolved into something of a wonder. |

39 | 26.10.2024 | ThatHouseCDN | 9.0 | I really underappreciated him as a character and a wrestler during his prime years playing Umaga. Rewatching some of his work today and comparing it to Jacob Fatu, you can see the potential he has. |

His feuds against John Cena and Jeff Hardy are easily some of the best of their era, in ten or twenty years when Roman, Rock, and company's careers are all said and done I think he will go down as the most technically underrated of the extended Bloodline. |

58 | 21.02.2024 | thedman0310 | 9.0 | The Samoan Bulldozer's run was tragically short, but man, did he pack a hell of a lot of action into that time. His early work as part of 3 Minute Warning was exciting, but it wasn't until his return as Umaga that he reached his full potential. The man had a scary amount of strength, being able to base for pretty much anyone. His move set was flashy and high impact, and his look and character were intimidating. He couldn't cut a good promo, but when you look like that and wrestle like that, you don't need to talk. He should've been world champion, at least once. |

68 | 29.11.2023 | Bar786788 | 9.0 | Umaga was a breath of fresh air returning to WWE rebranded as the Samoan Bulldozer and decimating everything in his path like a tsunami - so many memorable moments like him destroying the Jackass guys, destroying Maria, being Mr. McMahons representative in the hair vs hair debacle against Donald Trump and even back in his days as 3MW he was charismatic, scary, and no slouch when it came down to wrestling. I think he should have defeated Cena for the WWE title even just to lose it back a month later - he was the total package as a monster heel especially when he had Armando Alejandro Estrada in his corner breaking cigars to signal for the Samoan Spike. I also think he ended up giving John Cena his greatest match (the Last Man Standing at Royal Rumble 2007). Everything from the face paint to the gibberish hed shout made him one of the most fearsome and animalistic competitors wed ever see in the E. |

R. I. P. Eddie. Edit 20.07.2023 es wird sicher dauern aber nun ist sein Sohn Zilla Fatu als Wrestler im Ring. Man sieht sofort das er Umaga Sohn ist. |

83 | 02.06.2023 | Giantfan1980 | 6.0 | Nothing amazing when he was known as Jamal in 3 Minute Warning, but when he got repackaged as Umaga, his career entered a bit of a renaissance. Great monster heel and one of the most successful "Island Boys" in a long time. Unfortunately, underlying health issues and possible substance abuse ended his life when he was just starting to break into the big leagues. If he was still around he probably would have been penciled in for a feud with Brock Lesnar which would have been interesting. |

88 | 28.02.2023 | kewf1988 | 8.0 | Umaga was a very good power wrestler who showed great agility and played his character VERY well. In his first run as Jamal, he showed good agility and had cool moves, but couldn't use them in a way that would make for a good match, but after a run in Japan, he came back to WWE as Umaga and became their version of Samoa Joe, who was big in TNA and ROH at the time. |
