[5.0] "A bit of an overrated worker. I blame that on the fact that -- well she's pretty bad on the mic and A LOT of her Shimmer / Ring Of Honor matches are a bunch of singles matches with not much malice and not much hardcore juicy stuff to seek your teeth into. Sara Del Rey has a ton of fairly enjoyable, not bad but rather basic singles matches on the indie scene in her prime. Her work as a trainee is just whatever as everyone is going to have different says and opinions of how he or she trains you as a wrestler. People wonder why she never made it back in the mid 2010's, looking the "Divas Era" part is one thing but, she played herself EXTREMELY safe and having a nerdy Star Wars theme song as your entrance music on the indie scene, didn't give her a lot of her own identity or character development. Sara Del Rey had next to no character development back in the 2010's and that's why she never made it. Seriously? "Sara Death Ray" Really? That never caught on. Definitely not a bad wrestler -- far from it but, she can be a bit vanilla and yawn inducing to watch sometimes, especially if it's just a generic 20-minute singles match with not much at stake, that drags on forever. I actually thought there were like at least 10 girls during that time on the indie scene that were better than her. But each to their own."

[0.0] "Her track record as a trainer is not a good one. Bianca Belair and Charlotte are two of the only good ones but a broken clock, blind squirrel, etc etc. She has been credited with training more below average to outright dangerous workers than ones who are truly great. Anyone who came through NXT that is actually really good received their primary training somewhere else and worked somewhere else before going there. More often than not you'll see better quality performers learning on the job around the world. Roxanne Perez immediately comes to mind as someone who did the smart thing. If Amato didn't have an affiliation with Bryan Danielson, I seriously doubt she would be given the latitude by fans to be as terrible a trainer as she is."

[10.0] "As a competitor she was one of the best in a time where women's wrestling was bubbling under mainstream attention. She blended the Joshi style with suplexes and brutal strikes and she was so damn good at it. As a trainer, there are so many skilled competitors that trained with her that aren't solely indie standouts. Folks like Bianca Blair, Lash Legend, Alexa Bliss, and even the current crop of NXT trainees including champ Tatum Paxley are tremendous wrestlers and/or characters. Not everyone is going to be the most impressive incredible wrestler. Even the best have had some duds, and that isn't their fault. She's an incredible trainer and was a fantastic wrestler. It's a shame we likely will never get to see a last match"

[8.0] "Sara Del Rey is a pioneer in women's wrestling whose influence is felt far beyond her in-ring career. As a performer, she was a hard-hitting technician who brought credibility and intensity to every match, excelling in SHIMMER and CHIKARA. Her legacy is her work as a trainer at WWE's Performance Center where she helped shape the women's revolution by mentoring Sasha Banks, Bayley and Charlotte Flair. Quietly, she's become one of the most important figures in modern wrestling. Her matches with Ayako Hamada and Kana/Asuka were all classics"

[10.0] "Sara is quite possibly the best women's wrestler of her generation in the United States but many casual fans will never know because she spent her career wrestling for indy promotions and in Japan. Not only was she the greatest wrestler but she is also very much responsible for the Women's revolution in the WWE as she is the head trainer of the women in NXT and WWE and for that alone she deserves a 10. She has held titles in all the major women's promotions and also in Japan, she was a big part of Sweet N Sour Inc. in ROH and also a major part in many seasons of the promotion Chikara where she fought men like Eddie Kingston and Cesaro. Sara i a true trail blazer and deserves a spot in the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in my opinion."

Matched with amazing mat wrestling and the right touch of power and a great wrestler is formed. I'm not a big fan of hers as an agent for WWE's main roster Divas though, which brings her down a bit."

[8.0] "I haven't seen Sara Del Rey too much so I'm not too familiar with her in-ring work like every hardcore indy wrestling fan is, but from what I've watched over the past year with her managing the Kings Of Wrestling and the few times I've seen her compete recently, she's definitely a good worker in the ring! Plus she has a great look and she is good at cutting promos! She is definitely a great selection for a woman's wrestler to help train the divas in WWE to get better and I'm glad that she not only has that position in WWE now, but I'm very happy for her that she's now signed with WWE in general! I can't wait to see her debut on WWE TV and I'm anxious to see what she'll bring to the table on the main stage!"
