HAYATA

[8.0] "HAYATA is such an underated wrestler, i love his in ring psyschology, one of the best Juniors in NOAH from the past years. He doesn't get the flowers that he deserves and it's kinda sad, but he's so cool."

[7.0] "Loved him in Dove Pro and was glad when he got signed with YO-HEY. Surprised he became the junior ace of the promotion as I've always prefered YO-HEY but he does have a certain something about him, almost mysterious."

[7.0] "HAYATA is very strange wrestler and I still don't know, I hate, accept or love him. From one moment NOAH decide to make a big star out of him, because he is very stylish, as I know, girls find him handsome and NOAH wanna make this type of a attractive top star, but HAYATA as a wrestler not for everyone. He had a specific slow style with many locks and submissions, but not so creative and aesthetic. Sometimes his matches too slow and pacing of a match is disgusting, but when he work with slow-paced wrestlers who also like to target, to lock up and etc., or he work with good fast-paced guys, who can explode in right moments, they brings balance in matches and because of that I like his team work way more, but he is 100% not a bad wrestler, just very specific and not so flexible when we talking about chemistry with someone."

[7.0] "One of my favorite Junior Heavyweights in NOAH. He's a really solid singles wrestler and used a part of a really good team with YO-HEY."

[5.0] "One of the blandest wrestlers you'll ever see. In terms of his standing in Noah he's incredibly overrated. Just a shindie looking, middle of the road wrestler."

[10.0] "Although he looks bland and no shows charisma, that is what makes Hayata good; his mysterious nature, his careless demeanor and the fact he tricks us into thinking he is another hip with today clown like Hiromu by the way he looks. His moveset is killer and his theme song is a banger that echoes presence into the matches. His Best of the Super Juniors performance of 2024 reminded me of that and I'm glad he got the chance to clung around NJPW to show those simple minded Hiromu fans that being a junior is more than acting excited or literally blow yourself to pieces."

[5.0] "HAYATA has some potential to be something more with his flash high-flying moveset and some nice technical wrestling but his lack of charisma in-ring and his inability to keep a flow of a match really makes you wonder if their could even be more to him."

[5.0] "HAYATA is a weird wrestler, he's got a nice moveset with flashy and fluid moves, his look is pretty cool and looks like he's charismatic but in reality HAYATA is a really uninspired wrestler who transmits nothing when he wrestle, he's heel but not detestable at all, he wrestles like he goes through the motions and it makes him really uninteresting to watch but sometimes he can have an entertaining match, it depends on his opponents of course but when he faces guys like Yo-Hey or Seiki Yoshioka, it is pretty good but otherwise most of the time he's boring and i don't understand what NOAH are seeing in him."

[3.0] "HAYATA is a charisma vacuum, I feel like I have never actively cared less about a worker I watch frequently. He is fine but really nothing special from an athletic and workrate perspective, and he is a safe worker, but he is just incredibly dull. I think part of the reason it irks me so much is the sheer amount he is pushed by NOAH, they clearly see him as their ace of the Jr. division, which is insane to me. As said hes a safe and just about competent worker, but he is incredibly boring and it almost always feels like a drag to get through his matches."

[0.0] "In my of opinion one of the worst wrestler ever. I never see any good things from watching him, no charima, boring wrestler. minus five stars."

[8.0] "HAYATA is incredibly fun to watch i honestly have no idea what all the hate is below. He is genuinely one of the best JR's in NOAH."

[4.0] "Generally okay at best, but is put in way too high of a position, especially as his peak is *** 1/2, and generally gets *** from me , if not lower, or slightly higher, he brings junior division down, he is not terrible, but not good either"

[6.0] "HAYATA feels to me like a modern day Kanemaru: a core aspect of a Jr scene but not the best by a mile and tends to be thrown in to stabilise things. He's fine in the ring and clearly has NOAH's focus on the "pretty boy" audience demographic down pat (don't laugh: this was a major factor as to why him and guys like Shibata actually got their big moments to shine in the ring due to their major popularity with them) but he's just a very generic performer for the most part bar some pretty cool spots here and there. Like Kanemaru he shines under bigger performers carrying him (Kaito, Ogawa, etc etc) to a compelling performance but left to his own devices he becomes a very mediocre presence but never outright bad. As stated, if you want to stabilise the Jr scene and have consistently decent matches with a singular person, he's your guy. Part of me isn't happy with the fact that he's almost always tagging with Ogawa and dragging his matches down but it's more of a positive that he's able to handle someone like HAYATA for years without it being too tired out of a concept. Anyway, HATAYA is a mid-card performer that gets elevated to where is due to a combination of charisma, longevity, and general consistency. He has bright spots but those are mostly not up to him, but to his opponent getting that out of him at the end of the day."

[6.0] "5 is too little for this cute shy guy, but I can't give him 7 either, considering that I'm rarely happy with his matches. But Hayata has some kind of charisma, and he has a memorable appearance. I think if he hadn't been loaded with long singles matches, he would have looked much better."

[4.0] "I have no idea why HAYATA gets the push he does, zero charisma, bland in ring work and a look straight out of the 2004 Midwest indie scene"

[5.0] "All I know about HAYATA is the fact, that he is beloved by female audience. He isn't impressive in the ring, but has a very memorable look. He also doesn't get out from the title picture for almost two years, that I personally disliked. Stinger is a very good unit, but HAYATA is a weak link, in my opinion."

[7.0] "I'm really surprised HAYATA got the Jr. Heavyweight Championship, I just really don't know why unless some other guy from STINGER betrays him and takes the title or whatever. He's a good wrestler with one of those high-flying ish movesets, probably will never improve much, but he's alright. Hopefully he has a good title reign."

[7.0] "As I said about his tag partner, both of these guys seem to have some sort of a peculiar charisma to them. The weird moves, the wacky hairstyles and overall appearance? Maybe a touch of everything. I really like HAYATA's daredevilish character and moveset. But he has the same problem with YO-HEY, he is already in his thirties."
