319.01.2024JokerDeSilva2.0Just a deeply underwhelming performer. I don't think he was truly awful, he could at least work a passable shoot-style match in there with a superior worker like a Shibata or Sakuraba, and he got an okay reaction from the crowd, but boy, there's just not anything to grab onto. Mediocre look, "bad boy" gimmick that he doesn't sell and just looks awkward with his cornrows and bad tattoo, and he had no energy or explosiveness in the ring. The fact that he tried to make it in MMA and got absolutely demolished doesn't help, even if he was in there against some monsters like Cro Cop so it's hard to entirely blame him. It sucks that his sumo career got ended, but man, he could not make it clearer that pro wrestling was his fall back that he didn't feel passionate about.

503.01.2022Sloppy Sammy0.0Its not much of an exaggeration to say that of all the high profile sumo wrestlers to enter puroresu Suzukawa was hands down the worst of them all. This dude just never cared about putting on a decent performance, its obvious he only got into Puroresu for a paycheck and Inoki was so desperate for anyone with name recognition to rebuild the floundering IGF around. Participated in a classic Inoki double cross where Mark Coleman was brought in under the pretense of being in a pro wrestling match so that Suzukawa could shoot on Coleman and get himself over. No one knows who this guy even is so guess how much that worked out' In real MMA fights Suzukawa was an embarassing flop as well so much so that he started participating in laughable custom rules bouts where he can just push his opponents out of the ring to win which is hysterical. This dude sucks x1000
612.08.2020ChopChopChop1.0Not only was he horrendous in every aspect, but he really looked like he didn't want to improve a bit.

823.04.2012Witchfinder1.0Rikishi turned pro wrestler with no success or skills whatsoever. I'm not impressed.
