While he was decent in the ring, just not that outstanding, he could never find his footing when it comes developing a character, being charismatic, or cutting entertaining promos. As such, it does feel like he could have been a bigger deal."

Lacked natural charisma and never really felt like he had connected with an audience regardless of which promotion he ended up in. His face/heel turns in TNA did him no favor, and it is hard to get invested in someone off of just "the look" for me. No psychology in the ring, just a couple of cool power moves."

[4.0] "As I've heard commentators in the past say, if they gave out world titles based on looks, Matt Morgan would be a 20 time world champion. Although it did work for the Ultimate Warrior but I digress (Jones). Morgan's late career run in TNA in 2009-10 was his best work and even that wasn't anything special. He couldn't cut a good promo and had a very limited move set. He did have great theme music in TNA and had decent charisma but there's a reason why he fizzled out everywhere he went."

Sucked in WWE with the stutter gimmick, slightly sucked less in TNA since he didn't have a stutter gimmick, but he still had nothing going for him. There's nothing memorable about him aside from what I mentioned previously, just a forgettable and generic big guy who offered nothing."

He would be decent if just used as a heavy for some coward heel but should never be put in a position in which you hear the bell ring."

His hideous unfinished back tattoo is probably the worst ink in the history of pro wrestling. Nowadays Matt is a close associate of a Florida congressman who is suspected of engaging in the sex trafficking and explotation of teenage girls. Matt Morgan, you suck."

I mean, he was briefly on Tough Enough, lived through a terrible stuttering gimmick in WWE, & then slowly worked his way up the ladder in TNA. He was never a favorite of the IWC, but for a big man, I thought he worked in TNA."

Probably could've and should've been a TNA Champion but it wasn't meant to be. Stunned that WWE never pushed this guy to the moon. Decent on the mic. Rad theme in TNA. I'm a fan."

[7.0] "Matt Morgan was a decent wrestler that was felt a bad hand while at WWE. He debuted too early back in 2003 and got injured, and when they brought him back a couple of years later, they gave him a stuttering gimmick. For someone that was able to give Big Show an F-5, that was a waste of his potential. TNA may be known for accepting WWE rejects, but at least they treated Morgan with respect, giving him the cool nickname of "The Blueprint"."

He had the size, intensity, power, speed and athleticism; somehow TNA (nor WWE, during his brief run there) just never fully got behind him. He still had some good showings in the ring and did pretty well in the tag division; his best run there probably being with Hernandez as his partner. I always thought he was impressive."

[10.0] "I've always been a big Matt Morgan fan ever since his short time in WWE and during his time in TNA, I always thought he had more than enough potential to become a world champion and I still believe that to this day! He has always had the look of being a true future world champion, he has done such a great job developing his in-ring skills the number of years he's been wrestling, and he's always been a tremendous talker! Hell I think he's better now than he ever was before, not just as a heel, but in general! Ever since Matt returned to TNA back in October as a heel and has had beef with Hulk Hogan for the past 6 months up to today for making "Hogan mistakes" as he calls it, I've loved it! I really hope Matt Morgan does become a world champion in TNA eventually especially with this heel character he has now cause he truly deserves to have that world title on him!"
