"He fits ddt so well, doing a great job there with comedic underdog, deserved to win KO-D openweight. I consider him a big part of DDT's entertainment part."

[10.0] "Hirata is one of the best veteran talents out there who still has a ton of upside and years ahead of him. Hirata was able to strike gold almost immediately with GO HIRATA GO! , one of the best tribute gimmicks I think Ive ever seen. When he really starts to form is after he records his own Tokyo GO theme, with the glasses becoming a focal part of all his matches. No matter if it's a tiny venue or Korakuen Hall or even Sumo Hall, Hirata always gives it 100% and leaves me loving it the whole time. He arguably hit his comedic peak in 2023 with winning the DDT Extreme title in an awesome three way, and he had probably the best reign ever with it. Some of my favorite matches of his are probably vs Hiromu Takahashi at Ultimate Party, vs Hikaru Machida in an incredibly underrated contest at SUPER MAX BUMP, and his many contests against Yoshihiko. Edit: changing this rating to a 10 now that he has reached DDT's mountaintop in such glorious fashion. There are not too many wrestlers who have absolutely dedicated themselves to a gimmick and a promotion like Hirata, and simply by sticking to what works he has consistently been the centennial light of DDT for me. Even when nothing else on the card piqued my interest, I still tuned in for Hirata dancing and gallivanting. Few wrestlers have that sort of influence on me, and I hope that he does not TOKYO stop anytime soon."

[10.0] "Kazuki Hirata is the best comedy gimmick in wrestling history. He totally understands his character and never goes overboard, hitting his mark perfectly on every single show for the past decade+."

[8.0] "When I first started getting into DDT Hirata was one of the first guys I latched on to because of his infectious energy and sick ass entrance, still my favourite in all of wrestling. The camera work going crazy when he starts dancing is the best thing ever. He's also the best guy on the DDT roster at working Yoshihiko matches, which is definitely a great skill to have in this company. Really exemplary work for DDT to do all this goofy stuff but still put in a ridiculous amount of effort into it. TOKYOOOOOOOOOOO!"

[10.0] "Kazuki Hirata is easily one of my favorite characters in all of Pro Wrestling and an amazing worker to boot. He gives 110% with every little thing he does, be it his flashy entrance, his ridiculous moveset, or his unique brand of selling. He can make anyone he wrestles look like a million bucks, even that chair he once had a singles match against. And on top of that, his presentation is just plain fun! You *always* love to have Hirata on your screen and really, that's what makes a great wrestler."

[10.0] "I love Hirata. Hirata is great in any match. It's hard to be a perpetual underdog, especially when someone is as... actually very good... as Hirata is, but he manages it. His matches with Yoshiko prove what a technically skilled wrestler he is, but he doesn't need to bust out his "real" wrestling to be great. Is his gimmick the same every match? Yes. But the delight of seeing Hirata in a match is seeing how people will interact with his gimmick, which is honestly always a lot of fun."

[10.0] "I guess it's time to finally do it. I have long wanted to rate Hirata 10, but I didn't get around to do it. And now he's one of my favourite wrestlers of all time for several reasons. There're a lot of serious and legendary wrestlers with matches of all time, but you never know who can really touch your heart and sink into your soul. You can respect someone, but not love with all your heart. I have that feeling watching Kazuki Hirata, because I feel that strong bond between the wresler and my soul, that connection which is actually very rare. First of all, Kazuki is a genius of comedy wrestling. He can do his usual funny things like magic glasses with Tokyo GO dancing for years, but every time he finds new ways to make fans happy and be entertaining. He knows how to tell his story over and over again. Hirata is like a favourite anime character or actor, his voice and expressions are also his weapon that shoots you right in the heart. His promos are also main-even-like, and this is wonderful. Kazuki is extremely charismatic and bright, that's why I clapped my eyes on him when I started watching DDT. He can make wrestling match with storytelling, selling and tenshion even with a chair, and I think that this is real mastery, not clown's fooling. But even when it comes to a wrestling match in the classic sense, Hirata doesn't disappoint and shows underdog performances again and again with amazing sense of the ring, acting out his role and showing his opponent. I really enjoyed Hirata vs Soma matches even when Takao was a lazy bad wrestler. And even in a serious matches Kazuki follows himself and puts the opportunity to dance and entertain fans and opponents above victory. He can develop interesting relationships with any wrestler, serious or comedic, he can tell a story with anyone, including inanimate objects. Hirata is a charismatic and touching underdog who can become a true hero even if his tag partner hates him. He's always positive, charming and winsome. And personally for me Kazuki is a hero that I will cheer for even if he fights Harashima, my favourite wrestler. Well, Kazuki smited me under the fifth rib, and I can't help it. He's great in any genre of wrestling, can play any role, and I know he will never be anyone more than an underdog comedian, but I will still be happy to see his starlit hours, bright moments and stories. I think he deserves better in terms of titles, and I hope to see him and Toru Owashi as a tag champions one day. I fell in love with Kazuki Hirata, and finally I can say it with a 10 points. Kazuki Hirata is my hero and one of my favourite wrestlers."

[8.0] "Hirata is an example of someone who is a fantastic in ring wrestler but almost exclusively does comedy matches. His mind for comedy really makes him stand out on DDT's undercard. I just wish he would be used in a more serious context more frequently just because he can put on killer matches when he wants to. I love him as a comedy wrestler but he is good in every aspect of wrestling."

The ways he incorporates his current gimmick into his matches is always exciting, every single time he (or someone else) puts on his LED glasses. TOKYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, GO! TOKYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO!"
