His feud with Ikeda is legendary, and he had other great matches in BattlArts, PWFG, RINGS, and elsewhere. He delivered every match, and brought an unmatched intensity rarely seen in a lot of wrestlers today."

[10.0] "Ishikawa spent his entire career trying his hardest to be like his hero, Antonio Inoki. He did his moves, he wore similar gear, he even faced someone named Muhammed Ali on a show called "YUKI BOM-BA-YE". Eventually however, Ishikawa became so good at doing Antonio Inoki's gimmick, that he actually became *better* at it than Inoki himself. One of the all-time great shooters, Ishikawa has insanely high level grappling abilities and his strikes are just about at the same level, throwing some truly disgusting knuckle arrow punches and beautiful enzuigiris. His rivalry with Ikeda is of course legendary, but he had a plethora of phenomenal matches with the likes of Otsuka, Usuda, and Ono as well. Truly a legend in his own right, a man so committed to emulating his hero that he surpassed him."

[7.0] "A good shooter with interesting throwback style and persona. He brings solid matwork, heat and credibility in his matches, giving a vivid impression of reality. Like many of his peers, he can easily be mistaken for a "monodimensional" worker, however, even if he shines into a limited environment, it remains a fascinating flavour nonetheless."
