Her second run in TNA as an enhancement talent elevating other wrestlers was the best fit for her. Wondering why she didn't last longer or get hired by another major company."

[7.0] "Burchill/ Winter was a solid performer with strong character work and in-ring ability, but she was often underutilized. In WWE, her gothic persona and chemistry with Paul Burchill hinted at something darker and more layered, but the company never pulled the trigger creatively. She was mostly relegated to the undercard during the Divas era, when serious women's wrestling wasn't prioritized. As Winter in TNA, she finally got more room to explore her character. She also had a couple of Knockouts Title reigns, showing her value when actually given spotlight time. Overall, she was a talented and versatile wrestler who never quite got the full push she deserved, but still made an impression wherever she went"

[10.0] "Katie Lea Burchill started in the company as a eye-candy, just like all the "divas" at the time, she started in a random storyline with her "brother" Paul, and she had some pushes early in her career in OVW, where she becomed the OVW Women's champion. I can't recall much about her time in OVW or FCW, cause I didn't watch it as much as I do with WWE, but when she joined WWE, she did some handicap matches, practically being the one who pinned the men's and helped Paul to stood up, like a year later (2009) They had to reconquilish the team, so Paul returned to FCW and Katie stayed in the Main Roster. After that, she had some story with Beth and Mickie James even having an PPV match for the women's title. But anyway I will not talk about her history in WWE, I going to talk about how mistreated she was. Well, at the time like in 2009/2010, divas match were so short and so fast paced, so most of the times, we could't see the full potential of the women's, and well.. After the separation of Paul and Katie, Katie started to lose matches, match after match it was just some 2 minutes stuff, basically all squashes, lookin back at the time, Burchill had an different ethic of working process, an proffected in-potential gothtic gimmick, it was so revolutionary, I loved the way she was so stiff with her malfact stiff backbreakers, but WWE didn't cared about her, even tho she was great in the mic, an potential champion material right there. But served as an full time jobber, she would fit in today's women's division, SO well."

Charismatic, witty, funny, pretty, and she could go hard in the ring as a great technician, I have gotten more appreciation for her over the years and what she could do."

[9.0] "She is kinda the forerunner of Kairi Hojo, and for all the good reasons. An amazing combination of beauty, charisma, quickwitted promos and character work. Her in-ring work was good for the time but hasn't aged terribly well, probably because she was too often in the ring with gals so embarrassing that would have dragged down Flair and Tanahashi, but she's definetely in the upper tier. Several modern British lady wrestlers may be better than her in the ring but so far not a single one has come close to her as the well deservedly called "Queen of England"."

Her considerable talents were wasted by both WWE and TNA, but for a fabulous mix of character work, beauty, mic skills, comedy, originality and ring skills, Nikita/Katie Lea/Winter/Katarina is just about impossible to beat."

[10.0] "I can never say enough good things about this lady. A stunningly-beautiful woman, Katarina is excellent on the performance side of wrestling and capable of good matches (my personal favorite being vs. Mickie James @ TNA No Surrender 2011). In the past she's even taken some great risks, such as her FWA balcony dive or her OVW ladder match against Beth Phoenix. Excels in the villainess role (funny as she's a total sweetheart IRL), and brings just the right touch of mystery to characters like Winter. In recent years she's also done very well as a color commentator for FWE and HOH shows, which allows her sense of humor to show through. The Infamous One is absolutely my favorite lady of the ring."

[8.0] "Katie Lea started her WWE career with the "incest" storyline with Paul Burchill but, the angle was debunked due to WWE turning PG basically killing whatever momentum and character Katie Lea and Paul Burchill had out the window. Katie would accomplish better things in TNA as Winter and overall a good female performer. Katie Lea also excels better at the mic than many of her other Diva contemporaries."

[10.0] "Katarina Leigh (aka Katie Lea or Winter, whatever you want to call her) is literally my favorite female wrestler of all time! She's pretty much been my favorite ever since day one when she debuted on WWE television back in 2008 and I think she's one of the most beautiful, most talented, and most underrated divas in wrestling history! The fact that she never got many great opportunities in both WWE and TNA just dumbfounds me especially in WWE cause they never put the women's or divas title on her. Yes she may have been 2-time knockouts champion as well as a knockouts tag team champion in TNA, but god knows they didn't give her one of the most successful title reigns ever. She really deserved to be one of the best champions in the history of both companies, but unfortunately that never happened. But regardless of all that, I'm glad to see that she's doing well where she's at right now getting movie roles and wrestling a few independent bookings here and there these days!"
