Involved in one of the worst TNA storylines of all time doesn't help but I suppose it wasn't his fault he was born a Brisco."

His best was in TNA as a member of the Aces of Eight. I remember him in FCW. Could have stayed longer. Today is doing well in the indies in the States and Canada for Great North Wrestling."

Also, the look of surprise he gives for a near fall (waaaay too early in the match where you? d expect one, or from a simple maneuver, like a backslide) drives me nuts and he constantly does it. Never saw his dad or uncle wrestle, but would have to think they were damn good. Not sure how he fell so far from the tree."

[4.0] "While I initially wrote Brisco off based on his time with TNA, his more recent work with Paragon Pro Wrestling has shown a good deal of improvement in terms of both technical skill and connecting with the crowd. Seems at his best in a tag team environment, such as his matches in PPW alongside fellow TNA alum Jesse Sorensen, though his recent singles work has also been respectable. He's still a work in progress, and may not reach the same accolades as his forebears, but Wes is clearly putting forth the effort to up his game and should do well for promotions like PPW, if not eventually find his way back to the national stage."

[6.0] "I think when Wes Brisco came into TNA and joined the Aces & Eights, I think people were too quick to judge him when most of the world didn't know much about him and his abilities too much beforehand. But for me, I've watched Wes Brisco ever since he basically started his pro wrestling career in FCW and as he progressed in his rookie years in 2009 and 2010, I thought he became at least decent in the ring and as a character and I thought his finishing maneuver off the top rope which was known as Splash Ink was very innovative. Then a year later after his WWE release, he comes into TNA and he's a part of the Aces & Eights and he was in a feud with Kurt Angle and while I agree that a lot of the stuff he has done up to this point have not been too stellar, he is not horrible as a lot of fans probably want to make him out to be. He still may be a bit green even though he's been in pro wrestling for about 4 years now and he still botches a few things here and there, but he can and he does have the potential to improve greatly and I think last Sunday at Slammiversary, he really showed me at least that he's starting that improvement off just right. I think that especially since now he's finally getting mainstream exposure from wrestling fans on a big wrestling stage like TNA, I think people just need to give Wes time to improve on his skills before they think to judge him any further."

[6.0] "Wes Brisco only wrestled one match, and that was a squash match in which he took a sick german suplex, and people as a result call him a terrible wrestler? That honestly makes little sense to me. I have seen him wrestle before TNA, and while he isn't as good as his father, he is a talented wrestler in his own right. I do think he should go to OVW, with Garret Bischoff to polish his wrestling, but he isn't a bad wrestler at all."

[1.0] "He hasn't the Brisco talent. He is too green, basic moves and his match with Garrett Bischoff was horrible."
