Big Vito

[7.0] "Big Vito was one of the better television match wrestlers in 2000, working well in both hardcore and more conventional matches. An unsung hero of the closing days of WCW, and the run with the Hardcore belt was one of the better things in this period."

[4.0] "Vito aka Skull Von Krush was a very average worker who never really amounted to anything. He had a mediocre run in ECW and got a crazy run in WCW when the company was spiraling out of control in 2000."

[1.0] "If I have to judge his work with WWE alone he would've been a bit higher but his overall work he's just awful."

[4.0] "This guy was okay. One of the better "new faces" in the Vince Russo era of WCW. Honestly thought he might show up in the WWF after the buyout and do something, but that never panned out I guess."

[7.0] "An amazing wrestler, he had the intensity, he had the look, he had the mic ability and also the right technique. His '05 run was great. His crossdressing gimmick destroyed his "legacy" and that's also why he's rated like this. Since he got almost immediately released I guess he had to refuse it"

[4.0] "Always good in the big man role. Always seemed like the bridesmaid, never the bride so to speak. In other words, he was the high wire act in the circus, but never the lion tamer."

[7.0] "His older work as the mafia was great. I also felt like his work with Nunzio/Guido was on point and veery entertaining. I feel that his only downside was the crossdressing gimick. It was ok but I feel like some things were handled poorly with it."

"Big Vito was a completely unremarkable performer, but not actually BAD like his current 3. 50 rating would indicate. He was perfectly competent. He just didn't stand out."

[3.0] "I first saw Vito as part of Da Baldies when ECW was on TNN. Da Baldies group didn't really do anything for me. I think I mostly lost track of Vito until he reappeared in WWE & in short order & seemingly completely out-of-nowhere, was dressing in a sundress. There was little context for why this was happening outside of Cole just explaining that Vito like dressing that way. In short, just a dumb gimmick someone who had no creativity thought up. He was not horrible in the ring, but never had a memorable match or segment."

[4.0] "Vito was a straight-ahead brawler and tended to be at his best while part of a team or stable, most significantly as half of the Mamalukes in WCW with Johnny Stamboli, but also previously as a peripheral member of the FBI and as part of Da Baldies in ECW. His ceiling as a single was more limited, and being saddled with silly gimmicks (the dress thing, of course) in WWE didn't help (oddly enough he missed out on the WWE FBI revival, though he did later team with Nunzio leading into the dress gimmick). Ultimately a solid if unspectacular undercard singles wrestler and decent tag wrestler."

[6.0] "I think the low rating is only based on the cross dressing gimmick. He was n't a terrible worker at all, check out his work before and outside WWE."

[2.0] "There was something that I always hated about this guy, although I'm really not sure what it was… maybe he was just that good of a heel ? Doubt it. I think I just couldn't stand his overly "guido" character and his greasy bald head. The whole Italian mobster shtick seems to have been done to death in wrestling and I am just so tired of it. None of these guys seem like mobsters, they come off as dumb Italian brutes, and this dude is like the quintessential "mameluke" - again maybe that is a complement considering the gimmick, but if anything I'd describe my feeling as "x-pac heat". Hated the hardcore / kendo stick crap, which in WCW was handled so poorly compared to WWE."

[2.0] "They actually could've made something out of the crossdressing thing, but they never bothered. He wasn't a good worker anyway and he was completely devoid of charisma."

[9.0] "Looks at Vito's international career as well as WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, and WWF. Competed in Japan and For Carlos Colon. Was a "territory guy" working Memphis wrestling as well as doing tv jobs his first year in wrestling. For being everywhere, for great matches with Lance Storm and Terry Funk I'm giving him a solid rating"
