[6.0] "One of the better referees of his era for simply being superb at being invisible/out of the way. I wanted to wait to rate him though, I wanted to experience what I could of his wrestling career. So here i am, watching Memphis rasslin from 1983 when "The Ace of Spades" comes in. He immediately stands out from your Maulers and Marauders by being an obvious veteran worker who's damn good. I looked up who this guy was and OH! ok! Tommy Gilbert. Great body language, smooth, exemplary of "how its done" to a great degree. A stand out? oh no, that's not always the point. Sometimes there just isn't any holes to poke in the work. It's all very watchable "of the era" 'rasslin with no complaints. Plus, when a masked man isn't just a punching bag. That's my thing that i like!"
