[9.0] "I think fair to say the best heel that NXT has ever seen? Arguably had the best fued NXT has ever seen. Even somewhat had some success when he moved to the main roster initially. And then suddenly R-Truth made a joke one day, and I guess HHH thought it's so funny that he basically turned him into a comedy wrestler or as close as and killed any type of push the guy would get. So apart from being in tag team that was somewhat successful his main roster run just died basically. I think the AEW jump is 100% the correct move, Tomasso made himself a star on NXT Black & Gold - a company that was built around inring wrestling first, and then storylines after. AEW is arguably the closest to that we have gotten since NXT Black & Gold. I think he is in a better spot, and look forward to see what happens."

[10.0] "In terms of match quality, he's good but he doesn't have as many classics as his other, Gargano, but in terms of character, feuds, and psychology, Ciampa might be one of the greatest pure heels in the history of WWE. This man was an absolute menace in his prime, attacking Candice LaRae, murdering Gargano every chance he got, and then also trying to turn Gargano to the dark side made him one of the best heels of all time because you geniuely didn't know what he was going to do, not to mention the fact unlike most psycho heels like him who would cut these utterly psychotic promos like MJF or Jon Moxely, Ciampa would just come out and almost be like Jake the Snake Roberts, speaking slowly and quietly while saying the most heinous shit imaginable. This is one of the rare times I give a 10 simply because the character was so damn good and in his peak, he was a bigger menace then Orton in '09."

[8.0] "Good wrestler, find that he's actually more palatable to a large audience than his tag team partner, really good hand and really great wrestler, and have really enjoyed what he was able to do as a face and as a heel. I think that his timing just wasn't right as he could have been a bigger star with the right timing, but a really really good wrestler with a ton of believability. Very complete package despite not being a bigger than life guy"

If today his place in the main roster is hard to come by, I'm delighted that he's spending time in the ring and has the opportunity to be team champion with Gargano, they deserve it. His in-ring skills and wrestling intelligence are formidable and his adaptability can work in his favor. I've got my fingers crossed because he's talented."

He's great in a tag team with Gargano, but he just doesn't have the ability to be a strong singles star. I'm not even going to talk about his indy stuff from before NXT since he's improved since then. Ciampa has had some strong performances over the last couple years. I wasn't at all a fan of his story with Gargano. Those matches brought out the absolute worst in him. He could be a good heel when he's not forcing it. If he was in a different environment working a different style other than your-turn-my-turn I could see myself liking him more. He has a strong passion for pro-wrestling and you have to give him credit for still putting in work despite multiple injures."

[8.0] "I like him a little bit more than Johnny Gargano but he currently just suffers from the same problem as him. Also his frequent injuries haven't helped his carreer at all. I would say: Build him up as a menacing heel and give him a run with the World Heavyweight championship but we'll see what they do with him."

[8.0] "Ciampa is one of the biggest reasons Black and Gold NXT succeeded. First discovered him when he was in ROH and he was good but missing something. He figured it out by the time he went into NXT and he and Gargano consistently put on great matches. He now had amazing charisma and good mic skills. His time as NXT's top heel was great and he came back still hot despite a long time away due to neck surgery. Proof of how good he is was that he was one of the few veterans kept for NXT 2.0. Main roster run hasn't been great so far but hoping it starts to turn around."

[8.0] "Chiampa isn't quite an outstanding performer like his DIY partner but he is still a very good perfomer. His best attribute though is his character work; Chiampa was one the best character worker in NXT history second only to the Wyatt family. He has incredible charisma and superb mic skills. Unfortunately, heavily underused in the main roster."

[9.0] "What can I say about Tommaso Ciampa without mentioning those great fights he has had in NXT, which is his home. But seen what has been seen it seems that he has been stagnating in the main WWE brands, he is a wrestler with a characteristic style of wrestling of what we saw before in NXT and maybe that has left him with that legacy. However he is a great wrestler and I like him a lot."

He knows how to cut promos that catch your attention and don't deviate from the character he is attempting to portray, whether that's a badass face or a ruthless cunning heel. His in-ring work is nothing to joke at either, his in-ring work is good to the point he can have good matches with most styles. His consistency of quality is one of his best qualities. He just doesn't seem like a main eventer anymore though....there were flashes of brilliance in NXT but ever since then he's lost a step a bit, and it's a shame but maybe he can make a comeback and prove himself on the main roster as a main eventer."

Anyone who has watched him on NXT can confirm this, Ciampa is able to make his entrece music hum and whistles. He's not the best in the world in the ring, but it's still a very high level, higher than most of the current WWE roster. Triple H likes it and sees potential in it, so you can expect Ciampa to achieve a lot in the coming years - hope I'm right."

[7.0] "He's a great wrestler, with a great psychology and botch absolutely never, but I don't like him. I find his matches really slow, near to boring. It's a shame in a division where everyone can fly everywhere, and to see a cruiserweight whose matches have less speed than Keith Lee's ones."

[6.0] "There used to be a time when Tommaso Ciampa was among my least favorite wrestlers in the world, and his indy stuff is something I have no plans of revisiting, but he has improved tremendously then. Sure there have been matches in his NXT run that I haven't been a fan of (hello the series vs. Gargano), but every time he has faced off someone other than Gargano, he has reminded me that he is actually a pretty compelling pro-wrestler. Definitely not one of my favorites or anything close to that, but his matches & style of wrestling is something I can appreciate."

[10.0] "Excellent heel today! He is not big but a great worker. Very technical in the ring. One of the best in NXT!"

[8.0] "Is the perfect fit for the all action NXT style, whether he can ever transfer that into being the complete wrestler is well up for debate. I don't find his in ring work enthralling at all, but it works for what he is being asked to do. Matches with the right opponent he will always put on a good match, but ask him to look good with a technical guy or a high-flyer and it doesn't work very often."

[9.0] "Ciampa is exclusively made of charisma and talent, and his gimmick of psychopath who only lives with the idea of keeping Goldie is very cool. His reign was filled with good matches and he had a legendary rivalry with Johnny Gargano, too bad an injury forced him to give up the title. But now, daddy's home and he seeks to recover the title he has never lost, the most important thing in the world for him. I hope he will soon face Adam Cole and regain the NXT Championship. Seriously, he is the best brawler in WWE today and he's so entertaining."

[9.0] "Great wrestler, both skill-wise and character-wise. On long-term he definitely has the best character development in the WWE right now. And though the booking is great, a lot of this was carried by Ciampa himself. Not everyone can evolve from a hardworking friend to a selfish, gold-hungry bastard to a locker room leader as believable as Ciampa did. His repertoire however is too small to fill his future and that's the only minor problem where I'm looking for more progress."

[9.0] "Ciampa is one of the best brawlers in WWE today, he is able to make his simple offense look a lot more punishing than most wrestlers and it work brilliantly for his heel character. Speaking of, Ciampa's best aspect is how easily hate-able he is, he is such a brilliant dick heel, one of the best in-ring heel in wrestling today."

[7.0] "Ciampa is solid both promo and in-ring wise but doesn't blow me away in either department. He initially did very well as a bitter sociopath but his most recent promos and overall presentation pre-injury veer too heavily towards the "cool heel" end of the spectrum for my liking. And his ring-work, while largely free of botches and impactful, relies on the same faux-epic style every NXT main eventer relies on without the flashiness of his contemporaries. If your matches are going to last 30 years than they should at least be spectacles, and his aren't. How much of this is due to booking and NXT's overall formula and how much of this is on Ciampa as a performer, I don't know. But I much preferred both him and Gargano in a tag team compared to their solo runs."

[6.0] "Good wrestler but have never been blown away by his matches. His personality has shined in NXT though and he's played a brilliant heel. On the indies, he was a clown and just horrible, I haven't erased that image of him fully yet. However, I have to give him credit for his NXT run... from great tag matches to a great singles heel character. I respect what Ciampa has done and hopefully he'll come back just as good one day."
