[5.0] "Kendo Kashin's pretty mid for his whole career, in my opinion. Nothing really stands out to me about his career besides being a veteran. Out of all the junior heavyweights NJPW had in the late 90s-00s, he stands out the least."

[8.0] "I can get the low ratings but honestly, Kashin is a net positive for me given everything I've watched out of the guy. Great worker in the 90's and stood out with his dickish antics and unique mat-based approach, but also managed to reinvent himself into more of a comedy outing during his IGF days and beyond. Not everything sticks and Kashin certainly can't really do much in terms of workrate these days, but he's a consistently entertaining foil and manages to use his experience to make dull matches more interesting or just injecting his own flavour into things and seeing how it goes. Never forget that he was solid in his prime, even if he did start to slack off during the early 2000's and continued from there. Very good at incorporating little things into his routine and you really get to see it when he's on the ball. NOAH stuff is more hit and miss but works as a goofy side-act alongside more serious workers."

[3.0] "A big old drizzler. I watched a lot of his 90's work, and despite showing some promise as a youngster (before the Kashin gimmick), he has been habitually apathetic at every point in his career. His work in NOAH is just a continuation of an all-time awful run."

No One wrote on 11.10.2021:
[4.0] "He may have been a good performer in his 1990's prime, but of as right now, in 2021, I have no idea why he is ever booked to wrestle on a NOAH show. He completely does not fit the bill of what NOAH stand for these days. NOAH is all about dead serious in-ring competition, and I would go as far to say that they are the real "King of Sports" professional wrestling promotion (along with AJPW). Then we have Kendo Kashin, who is an unfunny, unathletic wrestler who cannot keep up with the pacing of a hard hitting NOAH match, and has no chemistry with anyone. He feels extremely out of place, and he should be booked to wrestle in DDT comedy matches, not on a NOAH show, ever. He also had no business in the N-1 Victory ever, as he played the role of a "Toru Yano" spoiler that nobody asked for."

[7.0] "Kendo Kashin's matches are generally "hit or miss". At his best, he could have an enjoyable technical match, as long as his opponent is on the same level. At his worst, he'd have a meaningless brawl with no substance. His character-work however, as always been very well defined, an attitude very similar to The Destroyer, where he's constantly playing with the referee and using a lot of tactics to have the upper hand. Pretty Good, but far from being great 7/10"
