[7.0] "A real quiet professional OG. Always work when Tony Khan remember she is on the roster, and made some hard carryjobs like giving Britt Baker one of her few good matches. I don't see her as a good wrestler for world champion standards, but I clearly can see her fighting for a midcard an that won't bother me at all. A shame that the crowd and her weren't at the same page, never."

[6.0] "At her peak she was an 8. I liked her a lot but unfortunately her stock has massively declined especially in 2025. She needs a character change despreately."

[6.0] "I like Rosa but I think she can be very streaky. Awesome in hardcore matches but sometimes her regular matches have a really weird flow and she stops selling. She's great at building sympathy as a babyface though."

[8.0] "I love Rosa. She's slowed down since her best but she's adjusted her style to be more grounded and it works. I won't lie her modern CMLL work is better than her modern AEW work but I think she'll manage to bring them together soon. Hopefully she gets the TBS title if we're lucky or World title if we get blessed."

[10.0] "Thunder Rosa is a great luchador who also transitions perfectly the style of wrestling in The United States. She is great in the ring, doing promos and she has a cool character too. When I watched AEW she was the best woman on their roster. She was also the best female wrestler in the NWA, though that's a lower bar."

[6.0] "Rosa isn't that good, at least not anymore. She is incredible in plunder matches but that's about it. Awkward promo too. Best thing about her is her look, she does stand out in that regard."

[6.0] "Her best days are long gone but she's a reliable hand and can be given a chance to help other women be showcased properly. Decent wrestler, still bad at promos but she's fine for the spot she's in on the roster."

[5.0] "She was quite good in the ring but I feel like she started to sandbag much more in recent times. Also all of the controversies about her and Baker. She can put on a very good match but on the opposite site she can perform absolutely awful. And she's not that good on the mic."

[7.0] "Before her injury I would have easily given her an 8 or a 9. Since her return she's looked off. She looks lethargic and sluggish. The change in her entrance music didn't help although they've since changed it back which helps a lot. Overall I think she's a charismatic and good worker."

[4.0] "While I think the AEW women's division has been making improvements, she has been dragging it down. Both her promos and her in ring ability are not the best and I can't think of a single match of hers in 2024 which was good. She of course doesn't look like an amateur but I am not impressed either."

[4.0] "So many mistakes. That tag match with Deonna she really stood out and for all the wrong reasons. I never thought she was great. Like many I think she peaked with the Britt match. Her strikes are so far away. Her moves are really rough, i worry for the other wrestlers when she is in the ring. She looks cooler now but her in ring wrestling has gone from a 6 to a 3. Has she got worse or was the aew women's roster just that bad (I hope not) in 2020?"

[9.0] "One of my favorite workers in the women's division by far. Always loved seeing her pop up. Missed her a ton when she was out with injury. I remain hopeful that she gets that push towards winning back the title she never lost. My favorite match of hers to rewatch is the All Out 2020 one vs. Hikaru Shida."

[7.0] "She's legendary in her own way while i don't think she's the most talented woman on the AEW roster she's definitely a trailblazer for the modern generation of women's wrestling today."

[8.0] "I have enjoyed Thunder Rosa wherever I have gotten to watch her. She has a unique look, very charismatic and she can talk on the mic in 2 languages. She is very good in the ring with her having developed in all facets of wrestling."

[7.0] "Thunder Rosa started in pro wrestling very late compared to most of her peers. She had a pretty enjoyable run in AEW and just as if it seemed she might become a huge star politics/injuries completely derailed it. I will always love the lights out match."

[4.0] "The lights out match against Britt Baker has been her high point, but she has not been interesting since. Her AEW women's championship reign exposed her limited charisma and poor promos. She is a capable worker, but is not someone who should be at the top of their respective division."

[6.0] "Back in 2019, when the NWA was actually worth something, she really impressed me along with Starks, Kingston and Eli Drake. In AEW she had that one great match with Britt Baker but for me that's it. I hope she can really change my opinion and do something interesting when she returns."

[6.0] "Rosa's really had a rough go of it in the last year, likely due to injury. Her in-ring quality was pretty uneven, with some good performances and some really not great performances. Her title reign was booked very poorly, and it wasn't helped by her inconsistency. She's had a track record of some good performances in the past, but she also has a lot to prove when she returns."

[4.0] "I really wanted to be a believer in Thunder Rosa, but at every turn, she has not been a very good wrestler. Doesn't seem to have improved."

[8.0] "Really cool look. She is obviously not good on mic in English but when this is the case it is the promotion's responsibility to make it work in terms of promos and story build but Tony Khan just does not seem to care. Her title reign may have been booked poorly but was also full of strange moments (even possible shooting, sandbagging etc.) All, at least, were partially her fault. If I did not like her so much I would rate her lower. She is the wrestling version of Athena Asamiya; she wears different ring gear for almost every match!"

[8.0] "Overall, one of the better women's wrestlers in AEW. She's the total package with a great character that people, most notably children and families, can get behind. Her look is great and she's a solid above average wrestler as well. Not among the best but can deliver a great match when needed, especially with the right opponents. While she's very charismatic, she can struggle with promos. AEW seems to be struggling with her next step though after her red-hot feud with Britt Baker but for the most part, she one of the more consistent women's performers in AEW."

[6.0] "I really want to rate her higher, but her AEW title run so far has been disappointing. I'm almost certain she's been injured since Feb/March which is why her matches have been subpar. The only good match she's had since winning the AEW belt has been against Serena Deeb, who is AEW's resident veteran mechanic that makes everyone look good for TV. Rosa just seems like she's lost a step, overall slower and clunkier than usual, and it appears that opponents are afraid to hit her. Her previous matches in AEW (before March 2022) have been good, as was her run in NWA, along with different appearances in impact, roh and various indies. When she's at her best, her matches are hard hitting, fast paced and creative. Things can get spotty at times and too fast, but I have that complaint with all of contemporary wrestling. It doesn't help that AEW seems to squeeze their all their women's content into the 840-9PM death slot on Weds, usually a match, angle and two promos. She's never been a good promo, but her ability to connect with an audience in the ring plus general charisma and mystique should mean that she can get away with just a handful of throwaway, Ricky Steamboat-style babyface platitudes. She had no issues with this in the NWA, which was a small space with a small live audience which translated through the screen effectively. However, she's shaky out there on TBS, where they're putting her in dumb situations in small amounts of time, probably feeding dumb dialogue to her, too. I may be making excuses; she might be a garbage promo and midcard talent who needs a good worker as an opponent to put on good matches, but I think she's better than that and her NWA run proves it (most of it is on youtube for free). Her look is fantastic though- even before she was on TBS she always had the best entrance gear and ring gear of anyone on the same show, plus her facepaint is the best in the business. I've never seen her come out in the same stuff twice. Her look rivals that of the best WWE has to offer. I wish she had started ten years earlier. I hope I can come back a year from now and give her an 8, cuz she's capable of it. She needs to heal whatever is wrong, get more time in big venues and on TV, and I think she'd be all set. Sadly, I don't think AEW is going to do any of their women right. If you think she sucks, go watch her NWA stuff on youtube. A+ look, B- wrestling (for now), C- promo."

[6.0] "She's good in the ring and capable of having great matches with the right opponent, however, she tends to struggle when forced to carry a weaker opponent. She has a really cool look and a certain amount of natural charisma, but lacks the aura and presence of a true star. Her biggest weakness is her mic work. She is just not a good talker, almost every promo she's cut has been bad, both in content and delivery. Perhaps a heel turn would reinvigorate her and give her better material."

[7.0] "Thunder Rosa is vastly overrated in my eyes. That doesn't mean she's bad though. Not by a longshot. She is a phenomenal babyface, with a fantastic look and energetic presence. In the ring, she's solid at her best, sloppy and mediocre at her worst. Her striking lacks impact a lot of the time, but she does have some cool moves and can have a good technical match with the right opponent. As a promo she is fine. Overall, Rosa is a solid, if slightly hit or miss worker, with great babyface fire and high energy."

[4.0] "I'm bumping Rosa down again because she still isn't clicking in the ring. Most people seem to by into her "fiery ass-kicker" persona where she comes out with her interesting facepaint, bulging eyes, and melodramatic roars and calls to the crowd, but make no mistake: she still can't wrestle after all these years. She's not awful, though she used to be when she was Kobra Moon back in Lucha Underground. I gave her a 2/10 back then because she was just awkward and botchy all around, and without any interesting character work to justify her screen time. Now, in AEW, she was initially a moderately enjoyable mid-carder who always had the "What if? " factor surrounding her, since her cool look and decent displays of babyface fire made her appear like a suitable future star if given the right push. Well, she's AEW Women's Champion now, and her push getting there has only lowered my opinion on her. She hasn't had any truly good matches or performances in the company (the Lights Out match vs Britt was just 'alright', in my opinion), and she's now actually just having outright bad matches which can't just be blamed on inexperienced opponents anymore. She's way too weak with the impact of her moves, sloppy and even outright botchy in her set-ups and transitions, unnatural in her 'filler' work, and I find it impossible to actually buy into her as a babyface because the faux "intense" persona she puts on makes her feel like a try-hard heel trying to hype themselves up because they're not actually confident. Well hey, she's champ now, so she'll have plenty of opportunities to impress me and change my mind, though I can't imagine she'll suddenly become a good wrestler."

[10.0] "If there were 7 matches featuring only pineapples and one match of thunder rosa I would still tune in."

[10.0] "Thunder Rosa is one of those one-in-a-million talents. Everything she does comes across with such ferocity and fire, she really makes you believe in that life or death persona she wrestles with. She and Eddie Kingston have a similar vibe, the way they want to bleed and scream for the sport of pro wrestling. Nothing bad to say. She's possibly the most talented woman on the roster."

[9.0] "She's one of the best in AEW and should be the next women's champion. Great in the ring but also has great energy and presence."

[10.0] "Thunder Rosa is one of the best women's wrestlers. She has the full package in ring and is so easy to get behind. I feel a big breakout coming. She can be the top woman in the division."

[6.0] "She's fine enough but....9's and 10's? She's not even had a properly fantastic, show stealing match beyond the one with Baker. She's a good hand and reasonably solid at getting good material out of anyone, but she's not anything amazing in the ring and I've not seen anything that's truly above good thus far. That being said, she's one of AEW's best women's wrestlers and honestly needs to be featured a lot more given that's she's very much over and managed to get a reasonable performance out of the likes of Purrazzo and Baker or whatnot. Has some weird pacing issues and is somewhat reliant on her opponent for overall ring quality but other than that, decent enough."

[8.0] "It's absolutely incredible how much Thunder Rosa has improved in her relatively short career. Her matches as Kobra Moon in Lucha Underground were pretty dire, and I lost track of her after that. Then I saw some Thunder Rosa matches not knowing it was her, and it blew my mind when I found out they were the same person. She's someone who's dedicated to getting better at her craft, has tons of charisma, and even runs her own indie promotion. Another few years and she could be an all-time great."

[5.0] "She's fine. Not bad at all but nothing memorable either: she's basically the female version of NJPW's Yoshihashi but with much better marketing and presentation. The fact she's so highly rated tells how depleted female rosters outside the WWE universe have become. Her promos are... not good really: despite speaking flawless English she always comes across as giving a highly generic sports promo like a young wide receiver could give."

[9.0] "You could stack this woman up against just about every other woman in pro wrestling today. She's got it all; technical ability, charisma, the look, and that it factor that just about every booker is looking for today. If you want to build a women's division and you don't at least consider having Thunder Rosa, you're doing it wrong."

[10.0] "One of the TOP female wrestlers in North-America, she's totally the full package. She can deliver on the ring by putting some great matches against everyone and she has some very good mic skills aswell"

[9.0] "Not only is Thunder Rosa one of the very best women wrestlers in North America today, she may be one the best freelancers. Exceptional ring general who can direct matches against greener opponents but also deliver solid gold when in the ring with similarly matched opponents. She is also extremely nurturing of the next generation of women wrestlers as she serves as a trainer (she co-trained promising up and comer Jazmin Allure who has made a few appearances on AEW Dark) and a promoter of Mission Pro Wrestling in Texas. What's most remarkable is Thunder Rosa has only been wrestling since 2014, but she works like a seasoned 10+ year veteran. Both AEW and NWA are lucky to have her on their shows."

[9.0] "Out of all the talents benefitting from AEW's exposure, the dark horse has got to Thunder Rosa! She's been killing it for the past couple of years. NWA champion, being of AEW as NWA champ, that match with Britt Baker. Nothing but fire"

[6.0] "She has good fire in her offense but doesn't seem to know how to channel it at the best times because it seems like there's always one point in her matches where she gets a bit lost. Her promos have the same problem, as they tend to be rambly and end on generic "lead the divison/change the world" stuff. Other than that, she's solid."

[6.0] "She's not far into her career and she's improved a lot and has some ways to go still. Will be exciting to watch her evolve."

[7.0] "Rosa didn't know much about the business when she came on the scene in Lucha Underground. But since those days, she has improved greatly. She's great in the ring & with her recent move to take on MMA, she brings some legitimacy to the women's division."

[5.0] "More recently I'm a bit disappointed in her outings in the tournament they had. It is important to remember she's actually a young wrestler despite being old for a young wrestler, so she has time to grow."

[6.0] "She's only been at this for a short time, and has a lot of good looking stuff, but she's not there yet as far as "psychology" goes. Her promos are pretty good in execution but not so much in content. Give it time and she might get there, though her window may be closing."

[9.0] "Hardest working female wrestler in the business. Improves by leaps and bounds with every passing year. Brought back a great deal of respect to the NWA World Women's Championship during her title reign. Tough as nails; learned the hard way through teachers and mentors in Japan and Mexico. Deserves a World Championship reign in either AEW or WWE. Criminally underrated as a performer; the "E's" offer to only hire her as a referee was insulting. She is giving back to the business by raising a crop of performers through her own promotion in San Antonio, Texas. Appreciative of her fans and is very grateful for the opportunities she received in the business. Would love to see her beat Shida (another great) for the AEW World Women's Championship and expand her title defenses within Impact and the NWA. Would have been a tremendous TJPW Princess Champion had it not been for the COVID-19 pandemic."

[10.0] "Always is satisfactory watch Thunder Rosa's matches. I remember that she caught my attention as Kobra Moon in Lucha Underground. She is one of the few reasons that I watch Dark or Dynamite. I love when she speaks and curses in spanish. Great attitude, attractive character, very fluent and strong style, a pleause to see pass from toughest to a more technicall style. Some very interesting matches from Japan (a sadness that she could never defend her international TJPW Title) and from her NWA World Womens champion run. Seeing what she has already accomplished in this few years of career, I only wonder if only she had started earlier her career and not so late, Where would she be and what would she have accomplished by now? A referee contract? really WWE? c'mon!"

[9.0] "Thunder Rosa just understands wrestling. She was brilliant as Kobra Moon in singles, she was brilliant with Holidead in tag matches and she's brilliant as Thunder Rosa. She's convincing, intense and her ring work is excellent. The more places you see her the cooler she seems as some badass world warrior who kicks ass in Mexico, the indies, Stardom, NWA, AEW etc just awesome"

[7.0] "Good wrestler with a high upside. She's on the smaller side, but she compensates with speed and generally technical ability. She's always played her character very well. Definitely one of the ascending women of today."

[6.0] "Thunder Rosa has come a long way since her Lucha Underground days. Meddling with MMA and having a little more practice has made her in-ring work stronger. She is somewhat good at striking and applying some submission holds. Also, I have to admit she plays her gimmicks really well. Still, to this day, I always feel like she's constantly marketed as a better wrestler than she actually is. She can have some good matches and actually carries a few of those, but only because her opponents are usually really weak. She is now the NWA World Women's Champion and pretty much all of the division revolves around her, but that isn't much of an accomplishment when most of the other top players are downright dreadful. She still works in the indies, but, from what I've seen, she doesn't do anything noteworthy in those, either. I think she still has room to improve."
