[7.0] "Tama was introduced as the cousin of Jimmy Snuka during Snuka's feud with Roddy Piper, known as the Tonga Kid. But it wasn't until he joined with King Tonga and formed the Islanders that his career reached its height. For some reason, he decided to leave Haku behind and join his brother Rikishi Fatu in WCW and Samu as part of the Samoan Swat Team, now christened the Samoan Savage. After that run, he never made it back to a major promotion except for one ECW match and a few house shows shots. I thought he was better than Rikishi, but apparently he decided his career needed a different path. Loved him back in the day."

[7.0] "Did alright in the WWF, mostly known for his stint with Haku as The Islanders as they were a great team! Disappeared for a while and resurfaced in Jim Herd's WCW as The Samoan Savage, who often joined in 6 man tags with Samu and his twin brother Fatu (Rikishi). Aside from these stints he never had a high profile. He was also pretty good as a baby face in his early days & a sufficient monster heel after gaining a crap ton of weight. Apparently he partied too much and that's why he never maintained employment in the big leagues. 6.5 rounded up, great potential - enjoyable but very limited material. "How you like that sucka? ! ""

[7.0] "His biggest notoriety came when teaming up with Haku as the Islanders. I felt the Islanders were better as a team than with Haku as a solo performer. Tama didn't stick around long but I thought he was pretty solid."
