[2.0] "My Rating: 1.8 Great Antonio didn't get his nick name "Great" from pro wrestling. He was very impressive strong man and a two time Quines world record breaker. Most of us know him best from his infamous match against Antonio Inoki. Well, even tough the match is "bad" I do think it is an important part of wrestling history. And the match is fun to watch! In matter of fact I have watched that match more often than many good or great matches. Can a match be bad if it's fun to watch? I would say no."

This guy was beaten up by both rikidozan and Antonio inoki due to not incorporating with them and try to shoot them. Well thank god he didn't wreslted when new jack was around."

[1.0] "Men like Antonio who are strong beyond belief but with zero in-ring ability or experience pretty much served one single task in the business: beat up a bunch of lower card guys so word goes around town and sell a bunch of tickets to the match where they lose against the promotions top guy. While he did make a lot of money to the promotions (hence the single point I'm giving), he refused to cooperate in fulfilling what was ultimately his role during his infamous last match with Antonio Inoki. I'm sorry, but someone who tries to humiliate the man giving him the opportunity to work overseas instead of roaming the streets of Montréal cannot be considered a decent worker, even if he sold tickets."

Brought into pro wrestling with zero knowledge on how to work a match or take care of an opponent and turned his match against Antonio Inoki into a total debacle. Inoki finally had enough of Antonio stiffing him and refusing to sell and beat the guy near unconscious. Had no business being involved in pro wrestling and was brought in just based on his crazy strong man stories."

He was an infamous strong man who decided he was going to hand out receipts to one of the biggest names in pro wrestling history, and got his ass beat for the effort. That's about what you'd think was gonna happen trying to smack Antonio Inoki in the back of the head. From what I've seen, he was a lumbering big man with a decent amount of charisma and aura for Inoki to go up against, but clearly no mind for the business, unsafe, and short-sighted in the extreme."

[7.0] "A local legend, an imposing heel monster with incredible physical abilities, but who is remembered only for one infamous incident. In that match, he behaved unprofessionally, but I do not think that he deserves SUCH a low rating. His arrival in Japan caused a real sensation, this man was able to attract attention both outside the ring and directly during matches, when he managed to defeat number of opponents in handicap matches. He was a unique wrestler in his own way, whose gimmick was convincing and who was perfect as a monstrous bad guy. His ranking is quite unfair and he doesn't deserve to be in the top positions in list of worst of the worst"

[1.0] "A record-breaking strongman, Antonio even in his wrestling prime didn't have a whole lot of in-ring ability, and was primarily utilized as a special attraction in companies like Stampede, competing in handicap matches, matches against wrestling bears and the like. He's most infamous for a program in NJPW which culminated in a bout with Antonio Inoki, in which Great Antonio no-sold Inoki's offense and then clubbed the back of Inoki's head, leading to Inoki severely, legitimately beating Great Antonio, after which Great Antonio never wrestled again. Outside the ring he was an interesting and, especially in his later years, a somewhat tragic figure; I recommend looking up the video by CultureRoast on Youtube about him."

His best years were served in the 50s and 60s as a side attraction who'd be pitted against several men at once, a trend he'd keep as far as into the late 70s and up until his destined slaughter by Inoki's hands."

Oh and yeah he can't wrestle, being a big man is no excuse because guys like John Tenta and Bam Bam Bigelow had pretty much the same build as him but he was just horrible in the ring!"
