[1.0] "Angel of Death no longer with us but he was always the Angel of death in the business. Zero build, no charisma and only a solid tag team with Russian assassins. Ivan Koloff tried to teach him and his partner to go separate in singles but he never was major or even average. Mustache hall of fame better call his family but in a wrestling hall of fame like WWE, nope, sorry."

[5.0] "Original Comment was left on March 9th 2022: I rated him a 4.0 "You'd think for his look and size he would have been something. For his look and size you WANTED him to be some kind of something. But alas, just another body. This particular body was very large. Best stuff? Russian Assassin gimmick." While I certainly stand firmly behind his Russian Assassin team (and someone else agreed which was nice), I still find him underwhelming overall, he has difficulty as a singles competitor. When he is "on" though, things can become interesting. He paired well with Buddy Roberts as Buddy's muscle if Terry Gordy wasn't around. He looked like he belonged in World Class. He was just missing somethings. 4.75"

[5.0] "He had a great look, gotta give him that. Just a big, bad looking, rugged dude with a cool name and killer mustache. Unfortunately his work left a lot to be desired. He really needed someone to carry him. Never even particularly impressive in squash matches, when you'd think he would've been able to just dominate some smaller enhancement guys in convincing fashion. For the most part his matches were kind of awkward snoozefests. Always seemed like he was kind of just going through the motions. Reminds me a bit of Danny Spivey in terms of his in-ring style, or lack of style. As someone else pointed out, his best stuff was probably as 1/2 of the Russian Assassins alongside Jack Victory in JCP. They feuded with a babyface Ivan Koloff after his split from Paul Jones' Army. To end things on a positive note: The Angel of Death was perfect as that menacing goon backing up Skandor Akbar, Kevin Sullivan or the Freebirds. He looked like he could and would hurt you. I'm actually surprised that a big scary heel like the Angel didn't go farther in the 80's"
