One of the most consistently enjoyable parts of Z1's earliest and best years as both a gatekeeper singles guy and one half of the incredible team with Kuroge Wagyuta. Then he starts EXIT and everything changes. He morphs from Hashimoto's favorite midcarder into an unhinged underground kingpin who bumps coke and throws bones with the intent to kill. His matches with guys like Keita Yano, Kikujiro Umezawa, and Munenori Sawa will stand the test of time as some of the most brutal fights in wrestling history. Nowadays he's maybe the best old man worker in the world, grinding opponents down with tight old school holds and still throwing around his own head like a caveman swinging a club. Also, Samba is one of the best themes ever. I'm at my computer doing the Fugo dance. Yeah!"

[10.0] "Fugo Fugo Yumeji? This man is incredible. This guy is one the most charismatic Japanese wrestlers ive watched, its pretty much impossible not to like this guy because why would you? He has everything a wrestler could have. Charisma, Talent, Character and etc. Like ninjas said before on this guy's page, awesome headbutts and suplexes, also a good tag wrestler with kuroge wagyuta aka rikiya fudo. And I hoped this guy would have had some more recognition, this guy is incredible. When I think of zero1, this guy is one of the first wrestlers to pop up in my head... Fugo Fugo Yumeji is dope and awesome!"

[8.0] "People often just don't even think about this guy, and I think that's a load of barnacles. However I will say, I don't believe alot of people on here go that deep into prowres to truly appreciate how much this guy gave and continues to give to prowres. He can do it all; suplex you, hit you hard, slam you, headbutt you, headbutt you, headbutt you, headbutt you. No but seriously though his headbutts might just be the most lethal of all time. I once saw him almost kill Yuki Ishikawa with an upwards thrust headbutt, it was brutal. Go watch some Fugofugo Yumeji, he's truly one of my favorites."
