Stokely

[5.0] "If you only rate managers on their ability to be entertaining, Stokely is an easy 10. If you rate managers on their ability to get their clients over, I don't know how you could give Stokely higher than a 5, and even that feels generous. No one benefits from having him as their manager. He'll get people to laugh. He'll make some 90s reference to pop the guys in the back. He'll even take a gnarly bump when the time is right, but there's not a single person he's managed that is more over because of his involvement. Stokely really only seems interested in getting Stokely over."

[4.0] "I still don't get this mfer. Like he has some talent as a promo, but I don't remember ever really putting over his clients, just himself. He never even sticks with a client enough to really get attached to them in both his NXT and AEW runs. And as I said, hee can talk but he has never actually gotten anyone over, so his talk feels empty. It's like he really wanted to be a wrestler but not actually wrestle and tried his best to not be overshadowed by actual wrestlers."

[10.0] "I usually don't rate managers, but Big Stoke has wrestled a couple times so I will rate him. As a manager, he is incredible. Really good promo who is also fantastic at comedy. As for the wrestling he's done, it's actually not bad at all, he's great at bumping and getting beat up which is literally all he needs to do."

[8.0] "Wow, I'm shocked by all the negativity here. I've been a fan of Big Stoke since the first time I saw him; the guy is a great talker, a natural manager, and super entertaining. Oddly enough, it is true that he has struggled to find the right act, but I always figured it was outside circumstances that got in the way more than any shortcomings on Stokely's end. He was great with both Jade and Statlander while those pairings lasted, for example, before being inexplicably split up. He's also a good on-screen personality, as evidenced by his very enjoyable run as ROH GM. At the time of this review, he was just paired with FTR, which seems like an odd choice on the surface but we'll see how it plays out. I just hope for his sake that he can finally find the right act to show the world how great of a manager he can really be."

[1.0] "One of the worst managers who seems to always find work & is constantly given the benefit of the doubt. He has had so many failures in his time as manager, from WWE to AEW. He brings down every act he's paired with. I can't think of a less successful manager. He's either quickly dropped from the wrestlers he's managing or the whole thing falls apart without as much as a whimper. Even the bookers don't care to explain when his partnerships resolve because no one cares about any of it. The ONLY thing he has going for him is his unique look with his bug eyes. If it wasn't for that, no one would know his name. I give him one point for his look."

[7.0] "A great talker who has been amazing with the Statlander and Nightingale story line, he's a real funny act and I've always enjoyed his time on TV."

[5.0] "Hes supposed to manager and get talent over. I think hes more concerned about getting himself over rather than furthering the story. He very funny but at what cost? Intergrate your talent and get other talent over first before shifting the spot light on yourself. Gotta be able to generate heat dude"

[8.0] "An incredibly entertaining performer both as a wrestler and especially as a manager. I've loved his work with the Firm so far and really enjoyed his recent match with Hook."

[5.0] "I don't really get Stokely, I think. He doesn't seem to add a lot to the shows he's in. He can cut a promo and all, but not a fantastic one or anything like that. He seems like he's just there a lot of the time."

[4.0] "I would've given him a 6 if he was still with Jade, because I didn't like him but he was being booked good. But he lost 2 points thanks to the Firm and destroying the All Out '22 match. He can talk, but everybody can talk. Doing a promo is another thing. He reminds me of Mike Sanders."

[8.0] "He's a guy that I really like his style, as a manager he does very well. In AEW right now he is doing well and they give him a lot of screen time, which surprises me being a manager without more."

[5.0] "It's amazing how highly rated is him on this website. He's just there for me, on Evolve, on NXT, on AEW."

[8.0] "Who doesn't love Malcom Bivens? He is a great manager, really excels in his role. I could see him being a guy remembered fondly, his work with the Diamond Mine and in previous years with EVOLVE and Chikara has been great. Follow him on twitter, hilarious guy."

[10.0] "His work in EVOLVE and Chikara were fantastic and I'm very excited now that he's finally showing up in NXT. Bivens has all the tools needed to be a top tier manager. Ideally he can bring that sort of position back to prominence in the company and American wrestling general. Even if he doesn't, I expect highly entertaining things from him. There are not a lot of indie stories that had me laughing as much as his Chikara story with Chuck Taylor and the rights to his name."

[9.0] "I love this man. He is really a nice and humble guy in real life. Inside wrestling scene, he is one of the best manager in indie wrestling scene that I ever watch. He can cut a good and entertaining heel or face promo. There are not many manager in indie that standout more than him. And he also good in twitter. (better than David Starr)."

[7.0] "This is a great manager currently, I know he's an in-ring performer also but I haven't seen him do that as of yet."

[9.0] "Stokely Hathaway, Ramon, or legally Chuck Taylor is very entertaining. Let me explain to why. He is a great manager (as a mascot or a mouthpiece spokesperson). He has also paired with many types of personalitys. I have not seen him wrestle but, I think it is fair to still rate him now because he is primarily a manager and has less than fifteen matches under his belt."
