[5.0] "It wasn't his fault he was given a terrible gimmick. Snitsky was immediately put into a hard position with the Kane and Lita storyline. He wasn't bad in the ring but was not particularly skilled either. His mic skills were okay but never had much charisma. More recently on the indies he's been having fun with the baby punting and it wasn't my fault."

[4.0] "Great wrestler? No, not even close. Weirdly compelling, incredibly goofy undercard gimmick guy? Yes, absolutely, and you need guys like that. Snitsky was great at what he did, which was look menacing, be goofy, and be a convenient, slay-able monster."

[7.0] "Whilst he was slightly immobile in the ring (and he was) he was also a compelling (and absolutely bloody terrifying) character inside and outside of the ring. Not perfect, but his psychology was off the charts. The entire storyline involving Lita and Kane and the baby and the fact that it was not his fault etc etc was must see TV in 2004 and I think he deserves some (if not all) of the flowers for it"

[3.0] "Snitsky made his mark in WWE with a bizarre and unforgettable debut storyline that instantly got people talking. While he was never the most polished in the ring, his size and intensity gave him a strong presence. He leaned into the absurdity of his character, which helped him stand out in a crowded roster. Though he never climbed far up the card, he delivered memorable moments and embraced the weirdness that wrestling sometimes thrives on"

[3.0] "Snitsky was a product of the mid-2000s WWE machine--memorable for shock value moments (like "It wasn't my fault! ") but never really known for in-ring classics. He had a unique look and physical presence, but his matches were usually plodding, and his character work didn't evolve much past the initial storyline. He served his role as a monster heel, but never truly broke through. Entertaining in a chaotic era, but not someone you'd rank highly for pure wrestling ability or longevity in the spotlight. More of a cult footnote than a cornerstone."

[5.0] "I'll give him a 3 just because hes slightly better than Heidenreich who i gave a 2 snitsky had the better storylines and lasted longer in the wwe his moveset was boring the guy couldn't cut a good promo either and has a weird foot fetish i remember him teaming up with Goldust and Tyson Tomko then made his way to ecw where he feuded with the likes of Balls Mahoney and RVD then got drafted back to raw where he competed for the intercontinental championship against jeff hardy which he lost by pinfall after that he lost an intercontinental championship tournament match against cm punk which was his final appearance on raw before requesting his release from his contract in 2023 he made an unexpected return in a cameo appearance on raw backstage with Chelsea Green where he would say his famous line It Wasn't My Fault. Edit after watching more of his matches i decided to bump him up to a 5 he didnt last long in TNA he was only there for 2 months which is a shame i believe he could've done really well over there"

[3.0] "He just had a weird aura about him. He was a weird looking guy, had the weird feet licking gimmick, & did the weird "It's not may fault" catchphrase. None of that ever translated to stardom. I also didn't think much of his in ring work. He was someone who I would usually tune out, which is not a good thing."

[6.0] "Are people seriously rating Snitsky this low? ! I'm honestly surprised, because Snitsky was far better than people seem to be willing to give him credit for. Yes, he was another big dude in the time period where Vince McMahon scouted based on size rather than ring ability (Heidenreich, Nathan Jones, Tyson Tomko, etc.) but unlike two out of the three names I mentioned, Snitsky actually wasn't that bad in the ring. He was very much someone closer to the 80s style of professional wrestling, rather than the ring-work people were putting out in the mid-2000s, but I honestly enjoyed it! Plus, not going to lie, his feud against Kane was honestly pretty fun."

[6.0] "This low rating actually took me by surprise, even if I jsut based him on his initial WWE run he was an average worker and to me that needs a 6. He was one of those wrstlers I did kind of forget about and last year I was watching an MLW show and he apepared in their Rumble and honestly it was a great cameo. It Wasn't his fault."

[5.0] "I remember when I was was a kid when he came out to attack Kane and he was intimidating back then, but now I don't think he did much after that and he wasn't very successful as a wrestler but he did very well as an internet meme......and a monster heel too for a short amount of time."

[3.0] "Jimmy Garvin was the first guy to say "It's not my fault". Jimmy Garvin had great hair, was a versatile worker, could talk better than most breath and could draw some honest heat. Gene Snitsky is none of that but he's... uh. Big! I wanted to like Gene, I honestly have a soft spot for great big men. I don't have a soft spot for dullards who can't deliver. There are some glimmers, now n again the pop sparkles. There's also an element of guilty pleasure, not much pleasure though,"

[1.0] "This guy couldn't wrestle and his finisher looked weak. He played one of the least memorable monster heel characters of all time, and that's not to mention the fact that he had the charisma of a frayed toothbrush. Snitsky was also overpushed like a lot of big guys were at the time and involved in some incredibly ridiculous storylines for some reason, turning him into a joke. He was so slow and bad in the ring that he makes Big Show seem entertaining."

[7.0] "Jon Heidenreich has a 3.41 and Gene Snitsky (a 100% way better worker than Jon) has a 2.61. Wow. Wrestling fans sometimes don't make sense. Anyway, Snitsky. He's a really nice guy, cool, has a great taste in music, was always gentle and his story is kind of fascinating. He was supposed to be a one-off (even though he was already in the WWF world in '99 when he got attacked by Stone Cold during the famous "WWF attitude promo") and yet he was called minutes before the start of Raw to return and make that timeless "It wasn't my fault" promo (all improvised, in fact you can see that he wasn't crazy in that promo) And with that, he became famous and was immediately given a contract. Sadly Mike Knox happened and he literally took Snitsky's place so Gene got the shaft in 2008. The yellow teeth things was horrible, but he was still good...sometimes."

[4.0] "Well, I'll give Snitsky this: he's the reason I know Nesquehoning, PA exists. Definitely a below-average big man involved with some pretty infamously terrible angles - but hey, those weren't his fault."

[3.0] "Another big body roster filler out of the Ruthless Aggression Era. I was going to go 4 stars, but then they gave him that horrible feet porn gimmick. Are we sure Vince Russo wasn't writing for WWE back then?"

[6.0] "Snitsky doesn't deserve this rating at all, he is a good worker and has a fun gimmick. I don't understand why he is rated so low when he is a serious big man."

[7.0] "he isnt good nor is he bad he is average but i do think he has had some memorable moments and he has had some ok matches it wasnt his fault wwe gave him the stuff they did like kicking a baby into the fans"

[2.0] "Another basic run of the mill power wrestler from the Ruthless Aggression era. Basic moveset, no charisma, poor mic skills, bad gimmicks, etc. Not good in the ring at all."

[6.0] "Man Snitsky gets to much hate. He was more than willing to do anything he was asked by WWE and I respect that. One of the Ruthless Aggression eras more memorable wrestlers."

[5.0] "Snitsky wasn't the best but he did have a great look (until they shaved his head and gave him yellow teeth, that is) and a unique brand of charisma. He was a memorable midcard presence and probably a little better than people make him out to be."

[2.0] "Like so many Kane angles that devolve into tasteless trash, so too was the world introduced to Gene Snitsky when he inadvertently caused Lita to miscarry the spawn of Kane (because angles involving the word that rhymes with grape got the green light in the mid 2000s). While admittedly the visual of Snitsky punting a baby is darkly hilarious, the fact this man's gimmick was him declaring, "It wasn't my fault! " at the start of his entrance theme says all you need to know about Snitky's run in professional wrestling. Oh, and he developed a foot fetish and has one of the most hilariously uncomfortable backstage segments ever - short of Vince McMahon dropping the n bomb in front of Booker T - with fellow bumbling big man Heidenreich. Man, the mid 2000s are underrated as far as trashy TV goes for WWE."

[4.0] "Your average big man brawler type. If you like powerslams and chin locks, here you go. He isn't bad in the ring, but certainly limited; he was wrestling the 80s monster heel style in Ruthless Aggression era WWE. He didn't have many standout matches, but the guy played his psycho persona shamelessly and to the best of his ability. No matter what kind of ridiculous crap he was asked to do, from a character perspective, he'd deliver in spades. I will never forget him punting a baby doll. Nor shall I soon retire the image of him meeting Heidenreich. Kindred spirits, those two."

[6.0] "Bro cmon snitskys character was good and he had a lot of memorable moments. His character work and angles deserve the comments he gets but not the low ratings. He played the giant lunatic to a tee. I? ve seen far worse characters out of far better wrestlers and to me character and ability are equal parts when building a complete wrestler. I Remember when snitsky punted that baby into the crowd on Jericho? s highlight reel and jr sold it like the legend that he is. The glory days when people allowed wrestling to entertain them. If he would have been in the wwe for a long time I honestly think I would rate him a 10 that character was that hilarious."

[5.0] "I don't think Snitsky was as bad as this ratings suggest. He was an average wrestler but his gimmick was truly believable."

[3.0] "Snitsky had the look to play a monster heel, and a passable power-based skill set. Early in his WWE main-roster run he got a bit of steam behind him with the "it wasn't my fault" feud with Kane and Lita (which included the infamous doll-punting incident), and early in the Raw-Smackdown brand extension, was "repackaged" (just by shaving his head and dying his teeth yellow) as Smackdown's resident monster, but struggled to really find a niche. Since his WWE release in 2008 he had a blink-and-you-missed it role as an enforcer for Dixie Carter in her feud with Bully Ray in TNA in 2014 and participated in CHIKARA's Infinite Gauntlet in 2016, and otherwise has appeared with some regularity on the Eastern independents."

[1.0] "Do you know what is your fault, Gene? That you didn't have any talent. Maybe next time go to a wrestling school that's worth a damn."

[5.0] "Honestly I have no idea why he is rated so low, granted he wasn't a technical wizard in the ring but he done his job well. Also remember when he punted what people thought was a baby into the crowd? It was amazing. Great disturbing heel at his peak in WWE."

[4.0] "It's not his fault. The gimmicks and story lines made Snitsky seem a lot worse than he was. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't a great big man like Mike Awesome but he was no Brakus."

[1.0] "Not that good overall that is why he is called SHITSKY. Had some great feuds with Kane and was a great heel during that era. I find he was not that exciting to watch. People stay he was 6"8 big deal. The Lita baby incident was what made him become dislike able. I never really liked him. He teamed with Goldust and Tyson Tomko but did not go anywhere. During his later days he was a jobber on ECW and Raw."

[1.0] "Disgusting and ugly, horrible teeth, (WTF bro Vince is paying you get your teeth fixed) his crappy moveset and lack of charisma or mic skills just make him even less fun to watch, as if his yellow teeth and backne aren't enough to make you leap for the remote."

[7.0] "Snitsky debut in wwe when he wrestled Kane in a Raw event Planned was that it was to be only a one show match before getting back to Developments but the incident when he by mistake hit lita and caused a controversial storyline... By this he became a all time heel and becoming a regular wrestler in Raw and have a good run in 2005 to 2006 But after than he became a enhancement talent making appearences for wwe heat and velocity and while making some sporadic appearance but all in losing ends until 2008 when he asked for and granted his realeased.... I think he not get minimum opportunities. Don't if he was kept in Developments some more time he can be a more good monster heel. I am Giving him 7."
