[5.0] "She's super bland to me. Nothing about her sucks but nothing stands out. She's pretty average at just about everything and it's hard to get into her because of that. But at least she's not bad which is always good."

His match with Shida in 2021 still being one of the best female matches AEW ever had, maybe in top 5 conversation, but she just started to be so bad after that, don't know what happenned. She was a boring champion and today it is only booked as a ROH jobber. She became boring in ring, never was good at promos, and I think he already same some backstage issues for the company. Damn, man, damn."

[7.0] "Good wrestler with a good character in 'The Professor'. A little mid on promos, but a little better on character to character interaction/backstage. I think her biggest strength is that her style seems more unique as a pure technical wrestler. Her biggest downside is that she lacks an 'it' factor that will let her reach the top."

[2.0] "Not a good wrestler in the slightest, overrated as hell in my opinion. She's a technical wrestler but I don't really think she does well in that style. All her matches are boring, she's a charisma vacuum, nothing about her is interesting. Can't cut a promo, boring in ring... inadequate some would say."

[8.0] "I'm gonna sound like a mark, but I've gotta say it: She's the female Bret Hart. Nobody does pure, technical, bell-to-bell wrestling like her."

She is an adequate wrestler and doesn't detract from her competition which is a positive but is definitely not a superstar women's wrestler. Thankfully Tony Khan is not trying to push her in the division. She is also boring to watch. I feel some people give her a high rating because it is the "in' thing to say she is a good wrestler. Agree with the commentor below me....can't understand how you would ever compare this wrestler to Bret Hart, one of the greatest wrestlers ever who had a lot of charisma and could cut a good promo and was fun to watch."

[3.0] "Seen a few people compare her to Bret Hart which is sacrilegious, watch back any match of Bret Hart in his prime and see how the crowd reacts to him. I've never in my life seen this women elicit any reaction from any crowd or get any pop of some kind. Her actual wrestling is decent but very overrated. She has the technique down but more often than not her matches aren't really telling a story past technical work (working a limb is NOT a story) and she doesn't have the wow factor in terms of athleticism to cover for that. Apart from a couple of matches with Hikaru Shida and Riho, I don't have any fond memories of her. No offense but I am just bored by her."

[7.0] "Is she could cut a decent promo or have a manager do it for her, she'd have been world champion already in AEW. She's way too good to be put on the sidelines for less skilled wrestlers like Anna Jay or Statlander."

[7.0] "Serena is a good worker overall, and a decent promo at times, but there is a continued disconnect between her and the crowd. She has a nice presentation and carries herself well, perhaps being part of a stable would help her connect better to the audience."

She's got some charisma to her but it's definitely not a strong suit of hers. Doesn't matter in the end, though, because she's a good enough wrestler to make me not care about any character work deficiencies she has."

[10.0] "I pretty much have the same viewpoints about Serena Deeb that I have for Molly Holly. Her overall score is lower than it should be for someone who's the best female wrestler in AEW. That match she had against Mercedes Martinez last month is probably the best women's match that I've seen this year so far. Serena's weakness is definitely her mic skills; but I think she's decent enough to get by each time when on TV. She just needs to keep working on them, and she'll be more than fine."

[10.0] "Can this woman's low rating from her earlier career please go up now? She's the total package in terms of not only in-ring skill, but presence as well, an excellent killer heel technician you fully believe can tie up her opponents into pretzels. I'm glad she is finally getting more exposure on AEW but needs more TV time, although great to see her also in ROH and would love to see her work Stardom in the future. Carried the flag of women's wrestling on the independents for many years, including the dark days and deserves far FAR more recognition."

[9.0] "Excellent in-ring player. She deserves the nickname of "Professor of Professional Wrestling". You can see Malenko's influence on her and that's amazing. Great charisma but I wish she could have more time for promos to deliver more because the last time with Dustin Rhodes was cool to see."

[8.0] "An absolute master of technical style with good skills on microphone and with unique charisma - Serena is now perhaps in the best shape and at the best stage of her career and quite possibly now she is the best wrestler in AEW women's division. A very talented performer really able to steal the show. 8 points."

[8.0] "A show of a fighter who has not been able to demonstrate her quality in her long career. She has come to AEW wanting to show that she rubs shoulders with the best. Hopefully in the coming years she will develop a main event character and be the path to follow for the company's women's division."

[4.0] "I think Deeb lost something after her knee injury. Hard to say there wasn't a big sample size to go by from before then, but roughly a year out from that, she's just very one note. Not just in personality (which is so dry it makes the wrestlers she models herself after look like Randy Savage) but her matches are all the same. Work the leg for heat over and over. She never finds ways to make it fresh. On top of all that, after six months of being featured in a feud she still gets no reaction."

[7.0] "Deeb's hard to rate, as she's in the prime of her career right now after a decade plus of nothing notable. She's one of the better women's workers in the US, and her presentation has gotten better. Despite that, it took her this long to get there."

[7.0] "I'm definitely liking the run she's having at the moment but she needs to have more quality matches before I can rank her any higher. It really doesn't help that AEW's wonky booking means that she's mostly on the C-show wrestling rookies and other nobodies to sub-5 minute matches, so we really don't get any idea of how good she can actually work beyond some definitely solid longer bouts (getting Rosa to a actual memorable series of matches, for one) but she does have some niggling tendencies that I'm not a fan of whatsoever, namely her tendencies to go a bit too much into rest holds and nonsensical submission spamming via Sabre Jr Syndrome, as well as some very iffy selling at points. These combined with a real lack of a big roster of good matches to look back on makes me pretty apprehensive to put her any higher than middle ratings at the moment. It's a tentative rating however, and I'm confident she would be higher with better opponents and more screen time."

[10.0] "Deeb's an absolute masterclass in terms of in-ring ability and AEW really needs to capitalize off of that ability. She and Hikaru Shida are vastly underutilized in AEW when compared to people like Britt Baker, Jade Cargill, and even Red Velvet, who appear on TV all the flippin' time and it's annoying please stop."

[7.0] "My feelings are mixed for her, I mean, she has a lot of in-ring experience and not a little charisma but I feel like giving her such a high rating is wrong for her poor career which you can barely mention anything but the Straight Edge Society stable in WWE, and her good work since her debut in AEW that would make me give her a 7/10."

[10.0] "The one that should be AEW Women's Champion instead we have a cocky, overrated, simp-fueled dentist."

[6.0] "Deeb is a very competent technical wrestler and a compellingly miserable and bitter heel. She's an absolute breath of fresh air to see in AEW's women's division after previously being saddled with either overrated in-ring workers or below-average workers who have to totally rely on their character work to get over. Deeb has a good mix of both character work and in-ring work. She isn't any amazing worker or anything, but just having those two things easily makes her one of the best in the division. Whenever she has a match, you know you're either getting a good one or at the very least a strong individual performance. The only weak spot she has is that her selling often looks quite awkward, as if she doesn't know what to do with her arms or her spacing when taking or waiting to take her opponent's offence, but everything else about her is good. I hope she continues to make her way up the AEW card and eventually gives us a truly good Women's Title reign."

[6.0] "Her shit looks good but has an outdated wrestling style. Submissions should be eliminated from the game...I should correct that and say it's old-ass boring subs that are a failure of modern wrestling in creating new fans, since most people today have a basic understanding of jits (just do it in a quicker shoot style). Instead, 'technical' wrestlers especially use subs by going through the same damn motions of putting on a hold (that makes no sense to begin with) where the defender invariably, in some drawn-out way, reaches the ropes unrealistically or escapes in a preposterous manner. For real, a big reason why people don't watch anymore is because mma (and its fans) buries it in this regard; potential future wrestlers must realize this point."

She is such an asset because she can make anyone look good and has been the unheralded hero of the revival of the formerly stagnant women's division."

Serena coming in & shaving her head the way she did was a cool way to debut. Unfortunately, Serena kind of sabotaged her own career due to drinking too much & getting in trouble due to it. Rather ironic, considering the group she was in on-air. She never really did much in ring work during that run, which is a shame, as she had the ability to go. She was fine when she moved back to the indies, but felt a little too bland for me to really ever feel invested. It was nice to see her get a bit of redemption in the Mae Young Classic. All in all... she should have been a bigger deal."
