[9.0] "Slade is one of those wrestlers you would expect to be a household name in the deathmatch world; he has a solid technical foundation, but what makes him really stand out is his pure aggression and intensity in the ring. His presence is immense, with his bare-knuckle brawler appearance and sharp gaze. In the ring, he is like an animal, never letting up and seemingly never tiring. Even the most brutal spots can't keep Slade down for long. At times, it's as if he is incapable of feeling pain, shrugging off light tubes and chair shots easily and maintaining his focus. Unfortunately, many people only know Slade for his infamous match with Hoodfoot, where he accidentally sliced Hoodfoot's artery with a light tube. Some people try to blame Slade and paint him as malicious or negligent, but I do not believe this is fair; both men had agreed to the spot and it ended up going wrong. That is just one of the risks of deathmatch wrestling. There was no ill intent or negligence, just a miscalculation. Slade has a reputation for being intensely dedicated and highly aggressive, but still incredibly disciplined and careful. Having said that, I believe the best matches to watch to get an idea of Slade's work are his 2025 GCW Cage of Survival match against Bear Bronson and his 2022 IWTV Southeast First Uncharted Territory match against Krule. This match especially is a must-watch; two total beasts go head to head in a deathmatch. Despite the significant size difference, Slade really held his own, even dominating Krule for a good portion of the match. With all of this taken into account, a 9 feels right for Slade, though it could become a 10 in the future."

[8.0] "Slade has an awesome aura and presence that sets himself apart from any other wrestler on the card. He genuinely sells every match like a fight for his life. He kinda looks like an old-timey baseball player, but he makes it work. As he gains more experience and wrestles more regularly, I am excited to see where he's at in 2 or 3 years."
[6.0] "Sadly not Noddy Holder and his friends wishing everybody a Merry Christmas, but instead this Slade is a mean guy who likes fights and death matches. He's been seen a lot in Beyond Wrestling lately, and I think he's fine based on who he's in there with, a bit of a nightmare if he's asked to lead a match, but in there with a vet he's OK."
